The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream, a natural gathering place that serves as the centerpiece of the great room. It includes a six-burner Thermidor gas stove with electric convection oven, a granite-topped center island with seating for 8, double-door refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher. A unique feature for Hilton Head vacation rentals is the butler's pantry, sporting a second refrigerator, travertine counter preparation areas and European-style, under-counter washer and dryer.
The ocean is never far, with a picture window looking out to the beach and a kitchen door that opens out to one of the highlights of this home - the oceanfront entertainment area. An outdoor extension of the home, this haven features an ocean front swimming pool, spa, deck, grill and beautifully designed garden. Mere steps away, your private beach walk provides direct access over the dunes to the white sandy beach.
The common rooms of Halcyon Days are anything but - hardwood floors, extensive millwork including large crown moldings and pillars, show exquisite attention to detail. Granite counter tops, mantles and wall treatments along with overstuffed elegant chairs and sofas add richness and texture. The dining room invites guests to linger at the antique wooden dining table, enjoying memorable meals and conversation.
A large family room on the third floor offers expansive ocean views and a large deck where you to see all the way to Savannah on a clear day. Sofas, armchairs, games table and a large plasma screen promise hours of fun while the queen size sofa bed offers an additional sleeping area, if needed. Adjacent is the library, a quiet retreat with high-speed Internet hookup, coffee bar, refrigerator and comfy chaise lounges.

No more than 20 persons (16 adults) permitted in Halcyon Days
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking with the remaining 50% due 30 days before arrival.
Payment is by credit card, for which there is a 4% service charge or by check
There is an added cost for heating the pools. The fee is $800 per week. This fee must be included in your final payment.
Check in is 5 pm. This is not flexible, as the cleaners will be preparing the home.
Check out is 10 am. This too is not flexible.
