Renovated, historic miner's cabin overlooking Bisbee. Incredibly pet friendly lodging catering to folks traveling with their four legged companions. Artist owned and operated, the Sleepy Dog is a beautiful, sunny, quirky house filled with Southwestern collectibles and original art. It has one bedroom with a king sized bed, full kitchen, fenced yard (with an amazing view), safe frisbee lot, off leash hiking trails out side the door. It is walking distance to Historic Bisbee.

Our rates are $125.00 per night Cash or checks are accepted.
Included in this rate are all of the makings for breakfast in the morning, along with freshly brewed Bisbee Coffee Company coffee and breakfast treats for your dog friends.We have no minimum stay requirements except on the big holidays.
*We ask that your dogs be very well behaved, house broken, of good temperament and cat friendly.

Sleepy Dog was the perfect guest house while visiting Bisbee before I ended up moving here - a step back in time with its amazing collection of cowboy kitsch and western memorabilia as well as modern conveniences. Charming garden (porch and grassy patio) to look down over the little mining town and views of the mountains of Mexico - it was hard deciding which was more fun to check out - the town, or Sleepy Dog's tiny artistic touches which don't reveal themselves at once. Walking up the steps to this renovated miners cabin from the late 1800s it's hard to decide what is more fun - the collection of vintage licence plates covering the entry wall, or the vintage beer and coca cola signs on another outside wall of the house. Bring your camera! and not necessarily for the charms of Bisbee! Great bed too! (and loved the doggie patchwork quilt!) modern plumbing but great vintage fixtures !

We just had the pleasure of staying at "sleepy Dog" in Bisbee az and had such a great experience . the house has great views and is so clean it squeaks. the furnature is comfortable and the colors the owner used (she is a artist) were bright and cheerful. Linens were 500 count and very lush. The house has great antiques and we spent hours just looking at the great collections of old west objects and art . most of our time was spent sitting in rocking chairs on the back porch which over looks the old historic town of bisbee . not only was this the most relaxing vacation we have ever had but we felt we had our own pravate little hidaway in the mountains. we look forward to returning very soon.
