This recently constructed, ideally located, luxury townhouse is steps away from the most breathtaking view in Lake Placid without climbing a mountain and 45 holes of award winning golf at the Lake Placid Club Resort. Golf Digest recently awarded the resort a 4-star rating and Links Magazine ranks Lake Placid Resort golf as one of the "Eight Icons of American Resort Golf" along with Pebble Beach and Pinehurst.
Ten tennis courts, paddle tennis, beach on Mirror Lake, toboggan run, lake skating and scenic downtown Lake Placid with a choice of restaurants, shops and the Olympic Arena are within a 5-10 minute walk. As well as national and international skating and hockey competitions, the Olympic Arena also hosts special events and public skating.
Fish on Mirror lake or the Ausable River, cross country ski from your front door on groomed trails at the foot of our majestic mountains or drive 15 minutes to ski Whiteface Mountain, site of the '32 and '80 Olympic alpine events. DISCOUNTED ski tickets offered by owner.
A fully carpeted/open interior layout of 1400 plus square feet includes two bedrooms plus loft, two full baths (one with whirlpool bath, another with hair dryer), a modern, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, a spacious dining area with expandable table, cathedral great room featuring a gas fireplace with polished granite hearth and a view of the mountains from 10' tall windows.
Laundry room with iron and board, plenty of storage closets, downstairs brick patio and upstairs deck complete the picture. Split system air conditioner/heating unit assures comfort in any season.
Sleeping arrangements consist of a pull-out, queen sleeper sofa downstairs, a king sized bed in master bedroom with option to separate bed into two twins, twin beds in second bedroom with option for king sized bed upstairs, and a loft which could accommodate a crib or large air mattress. Loft is currently set up as a TV nook with a two-seat sofa and large, comfortable chair.
This immaculate townhouse offers easy living and a perfect vacation get-away in a quiet and private setting so close to the bustle and multi-activities of Lake Placid.

This is our 5th year and we love staying in your well equipped and beautifully decorated townhouse. Our youngest loved the monkeys and combined with the mountain air, slept like a log. Usually I don't let him crawl around the floor, but yours is so clean I made an exception.

We enjoyed xc skiing, sledding, bobsled competition and great mountain view. Fireplace was a favorite during the cold winter nights. We did plenty of shopping and loved all the great restaurants of Lake Placid.

Super place, great location, all the comforts of home. We come up here several timea a year and this is one of the nicest places we've encountered. Your modern kitchen and appliances along with the breakfast bar make cooking a pleasure. So many nice touches that make it cozy.
