Best home we have ever rented on the island 2019-09-16

Very clean, spacious, with anything and everything you could ever want in a rental. The kitchen was large with high end appliances and top to bottom stocked with many dishes, kitchen tools, 2 sets of indoor & outdoor dishes and more. The bedrooms were large with comfortable bedding and incidental amenities. The home also has two zones for heating & cooling the two floors separately. The only reason for not giving this home 5-stars was, the pool. The heat was constantly turning off at random times and unable to keep its heat. The rental agency sent someone to fix this each week we were there. The 4th week, a new fixture (heater?) was purchased and there were no more problems. The home did not have a guest book to see the comments from other renters. If they did, I would have praised the owners for offering more amenities than any other rental we've used in the past 8 years. The garage off the back of the home included a pool table, pool floats, toys, beach toys, wagon, several bikes. The pool deck offers a table with 6 chairs and a variety of pool seating including rockers, swing seating, tanning loungers, and several anarondak chairs for a grand party if needed. -- Thank you for the kind review, Debbie! Fabulous family home! 2018-11-08

What a wonderful home! There were 7 adults and 2 children never felt crowded, plenty of space to either all be together or have your own space. The pool and hot tub were so nice and the children enjoyed the pool toys. Not far from the beach side and really close to the bay side (my favorite side), close to the General store which is very convenient. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used both the crock-pot and waffle maker several times! The view from the kitchen island out to the canal was just lovely and I personally spent to much time time doing meal prep and staring out the sliding glass doors to that view ,but if you have to cook on vacation that view made up for it! We loved the island and all the local people were so delightful! We hope to come back and stay in your lovely home again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your piece of paradise for the week! P.S. there were no starter paper products i.e. toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags at all when we arrived but we have rented homes many times and I always bring some with us. Just wanted you to know because we had been told there would be some there. --

We enjoyed every aspect of this property. From the lovely kitchen with great views of the pool to the nicely decorated bedrooms. The pool and jacuzzi was enjoyed daily by both adults and kids. Walking distance to both sides of AMI and close to restaurants and the General Store (though expensive). If you're traveling with smaller children there's toys for the beach including 8 or 10 beach chairs for your convenience. We were 2 families of 8 sharing and that was perfect even though 10-12 is possible. We will be back, we absolutely loved this house. --

We just came back from vacationing at this property. The property is spacious and clean. We enjoyed the pool and the fact that it was on the canal. It was a short walk to the beach and the property had lots of pool things for the kids to enjoy. Any concerns we had were taken care of quickly. I would recommend this vacation rental. We had a great time there! --
