We absolutely loved Carolina Moon! It was the perfect location and central to all sorts of activities! The beach was a few minute walk; Food Lion was within walking distance; perfect for riding bikes and morning walks. Visited the Light House a few miles drive away. Really enjoyable vacation! Property manager responded promply to text messages. The house was very handy but needed a few small repairs probably b/c we rented at the end of the season.

Nice house good location. Needs some Tlc and the cleaning was only surface. Needs new window blinds all around, seems to be some electrical issues. Rental folks did respond quickly and kindly

The house that easy access to the beach. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and we were able to make her meals there. It was easy to contain the pets that we had to the wood floor areas upstairs with a baby gate. House definitely needs some worked well for our purposes, but I could use some TLC.

My family enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach, and the shops. Everything was within walking distance. The only downside was the laundry was downstairs and no shower in the master, but did love the big jetted tub. The kitchen needs to be restocked. Overall loved the house.

We loved the location of this house. The views of the ocean and the amazing sunrises seen from the front deck were our favorite. The beach access was very close and convenient as was shopping. The house was extremely clean and NO bugs/spiders/ants - a huge plus!!The only downside was the furniture; somewhat uncomfortable but tolerable. The beds were ok but think they need replacement. We love Corolla and will be back! Not sure if we would rent this house again just because of the bed.

When we arrived at the Carolina Moon, we were surprised to see that the back and side yards were flooded. The drive way and house, however, were in great shape. There were no signs that it suffered from the flooding in the area (no smell, no water damage, etc.). The house is spacious and comfortable for 12 people. We were able to have are grand-pups with us which made for a wonderful vacation. There were plenty of dishes, eating utensils, cookware and the appliances worked great! The only thing we needed was a broom :) BeachRealty was a real pleasure to work with. They were very responsive to our questions. We needed a ceiling fan looked at and they sent out their repairman within the hour. They kept us notified of any changes to their office hours during our stay, and they were very kind and efficient in check-in and check-out. All-in-all it was a fabulous experience.

Excellent location. Comfortable. Bonus room/media room is on ground floor accessed only from outside of the house, separated, isolated from the rest of the house. Several deck chairs are broken. Would like to have used the back yard but it is not maintained, no deck/patio. Realtor never called to inform us that the house was ready.

We were really worried about whether we would even be able to get over to the island and if we did how bad the storm had damaged the area. To our surprise we were able to check in before 4pm and found no flooding and the electric still on. We did have a window that had been knocked out by the hurricane. It was in one of the 2nd floor bathrooms and sand and water had blown in every where. We called the emergency number and the whole situation was repaired within the hour.
The house was beautiful and we had a great time. The hot tub was wonderful and the whirlpool tub in the upstairs master was a nice surprise. The bonus room on ground level was also a nice surprise.
We would certainly come back, hopefully next time we could leave the hurricane some place else though.

This is a large home in an excellent location. We were the third house from the beach access. The beach was wide and clean and not crowded. The house itself could use a little TLC as it felt a little neglected in spots. But, that being said, it was very clean and inviting. The kitchen was very well stocked with any and all appliances. There is a nice view of the ocean from the upper deck. We thought the location was perfect. There was a small shopping area a few blocks away that had a Food Lion, bait store, bagel shop (whose bagels rivaled any NJ bagel) Dunkin Donuts and Dairy Queen, to name a few. The rental company tried their best to get us in a bit early but the wait for the cleaning inspector made that impossible. Our request for propane was handled very quickly though! A week of sunshine and crystal clear water made this a perfect vacation!

We have stayed at Carolina Moon for the past 3 years. Amenities were as expected from prior years. However, the amount of glassware seems to be deminishing. No sharp knives that cut straight. The plastic spatulas and ladles need to be replaced. But the AC works great.
