Thoughts on our week at Corolla....
* Location is everything! This house is close to the beach (2 minute walk) and close to shopping (Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Philly Cheesesteaks, Lighthouse Bagels)
* Kitchen set up is outstanding! Everything you’d want/need and tons of place settings!
* Pool area is great! Lots of beach chairs, pool toys, etc.
* Layout of the house is nice. Very open and great beach decor.
* Jacuzzi was just ok - only warms to 99° which is lukewarm at best. We called and reported it but it wasn’t fixed during our stay.
* Linen package - didn’t include sheets for all the possible beds in the home. None of the pillows had pillowcases.
* I had a few reportable issues. I called the Mgmt Company and the Owner had me troubleshoot the issues instead of sending someone out to fix the problem. As such, we went over 1/2 the week without a dishwasher.
Overall is was a great week. We would definitely rent this home again if we stayed in Corolla. The Owner put a lot of effort into making sure the house is comfortable and well stocked. The Mgmt Company was very responsive and helpful and most important - early check in on Sunday was outstanding! We were in our home by 1230!

We loved the kitchen/living room. The pool area we liked. The AC didn't keep the down stairs cool. The hot tub is a let down. Not one of the bedrooms was a master bedroom.

Great location, easy beach access, close to shopping but not right in the middle of high traffic area. Pool and hot tub provided great alternative to sandy beach when you want to stay home. Plenty of beach toys for kids and adults alike. Check the closets for additional supplies like child gates, pack and play and board games!

The place was perfect , close to the beach you could tell the owner did listen to people’s reviews putting new tv in and a brand new upper deck which was great my only complaint was check in was not smooth at all

The house was a good fit for our extended family - with multiple spaces for groups to do different activities. Great access to the beach and a nice pool which is shaded much of the day. Hot tub was fun as well.

Wonderful - couple of things - kitchen needs to be updated - need more storage. Cleaning products for use. The upstairs deck needs repair - nails sticking up, boards loose.

Our stay was great, pool was the perfect size for our group. House was clean and the walk to the beach was so short. Our only complaint was that the tv's were so old we couldn't hook up any of our devices. The main TV had hdmi input, but had problems with the ports and devices wouldn't connect.

Great house with close proximity to the beach and shopping, dining and groceries. Nice place for a small to medium family (extended) with a dog. Some things are dated and lacking (no ice maker in fridge) but has a ton of great beach amenities. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the Shore Thing! Could not have asked for a better location and it had all the amenities that we needed. Many many beach chairs and lots of beach and pool toys! I might only suggest an upgrade on the wooden outdoor furniture and the TV/VCR wasn't set up correctly in the bunk bed room so it never worked. All in all though, it was definitely a house we would consider renting again as it was the perfect size and distance for us and had all that we needed for a fun vacation!

We loved the house, it was an easy walk to the beach, and the house was stocked with plenty of beach stuff/ pool stuff and kitchen supplies. The only thing it was missing was a signed photo of Will Smith as Capitan Steven Hiller from Independence Day framed on the wall
