Home offers full kitchen, three bedrooms (2 queen beds and 1 king bed) as well as two full baths. Open kitchen also offers dining area and seating for 6. Spacious living room with TV features streaming TV service via AppleTV. Gas log fireplace in living room is operational after Labor Day.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered front porch while you watch the mountains come alive with the sun's ascent or relax anytime on the private open deck out back. Gas grill is also in the backyard. Depending on the season, you may also enjoy the miniature horses from Apple Hill Farm pastured in the field across the street. While you on Blueberry Hill, don't miss out on Apple Hill Farm, a mountaintop Alpaca farm which offers public tours and store featuring fiber products from the farm. In addtion to the Alpacas, you'll meet Mr. Pickle the pig, Gretel the Angora goat, and their friends. Public tours are offered throughout the year. Blueberry Hill is located 5 miles from historic Valle Crucis, home of the original Mast Store, and about the same distance to downtown Banner Elk which offers shopping, restaurants, and more. Skiing at Ski Beech and Sugar Mountain Resort are about 10 miles away.

This house is nestled in a peaceful rural mountain setting. It’s location makes you feel you are far removed from the hustle and bustle of things while being surprisingly close to restaurants, shops, and ski resorts. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed using the grill. The customer service was great.

Loved the property. It is very peaceful, beautiful and scenic. Loved the hill in the back of the property for the kids. I could not locate a can opener in the kitchen. Location did not have start up laundry detergent as listed. Only, did one load during the stay due to the baby messing up clothes and had to run to the grocery store.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bluebird Hill this past week. We had everything needed to enjoy the week there. It would have been helpful to know Krups coffee maker was only coffee maker there. No problem, we ran to Dollar General nearby to purchase a coffee maker for 12.00. We look forward to staying again. Thank you for everything!

This was our 5th annual family ski vacation. We were very pleased with the location and size of the house. It is a well stocked kitchen with extras (ie. keurig). Just missing a few necessities that our little group needed....a blender and extra blankets for the -1 degree day. The carport was especially helpful since it was snowing when packing the car to leave. Thank you so much for letting us rent your home, it was an amazing winter vacation!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying on this property. The accessibility to everything was great and the Apple farm was also a good tour for us. However, Bath towels and linens were not as fresh as they should have been. Also would probably be a good idea to replace all the pillows. Other than that, we loved the house had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Baker Stanley for taking the time on New Year's Eve to go through all the details of the house with us.
