Welcome to Valle Crucis Overlook!    The beautiful Valle Crucis Overlook cabin was built in 2010 in a quiet neighborhood. It is centrally located and within a short distance of Valle Crucis as well as Boone, Sugar Mountain Grandfather Mountain or Banner Elk. The main living area has vaulted ceilings with high windows. The living room features exposed timbers and a fireplace with gas logs to keep you warm on cold winter days. It also has a 60-inch flat-screen mounted TV.   The back deck is spacious and has a great view of the Boone area, Tennessee, as well as a gas barbecue, a pub style dining table, two rustic rocking chair, and a pub-style bar. The front of the house has a covered porch with swing and two rustic rocking chair, as well as a large flagstone courtyard with an 11-foot stacked-stone fireplace. The patio includes a large table and chairs. This is the perfect place to relax, roast marshmallows and listen to your favorite music through the outdoor speakers.   The view from the deck looks over the Boone area, across Valle Crucis to the Rich Mountain Range that begins at Howards Knob and runs northwest through Tennessee. This view is lush and verdant in summer and often covered with snow during winter.   The living room features two leather sofas, one of which is a recliner. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining areas. A half bath is located in the main hallway. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The kitchen has been thoughtfully stocked by its owners to accommodate guests for any cooking activity. The living room has a view of the covered porch, the outdoor fire pit, and the patio swing for lazy summer days. The location is near the end of an un-thru road.   The master bedroom has a stunning view, is located on the main level, and features a king-sized bed and flat-screen television. The master bathroom has granite counters and a slate tiled shower. It also features double sinks. The living room has stairs that lead to the loft. The queen bedroom has a television. The third bedroom features twin-over-double bunks, a flat screen television with DVD player and Xbox Kinect. The bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination.   The property has high-speed WiFi and Hulu streaming live TV. The home is equipped with central forced air-conditioning for those rare mountain days when it's needed. There's also a washer/dryer on the main floor, as well as many other amenities provided by the owner for your comfort.   *Access to Valle Crucis Overlook requires 1 1/2 miles of remote mountainous gravel road. If visiting during winter, you will need four-wheel drive and chains.   The parking area is accessed via a set of natural boulder steps (landscaped stairs) that lead to the house entrance.   MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO BOOK CANCELLATION POLICY: You can cancel your booking within 24 hours and receive a refund in full. If you cancel your booking more than 60 calendar days before your arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 60 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. If you have purchased travel insurance, and the reason of the cancellation is covered by the policy, you can recover the full amount.
