Misty Ridge Retreat is a luxurious mountain cottage located in Blowing rock. It has stunning views. It is located less than five miles away from downtown. This house is equipped with many amenities including a hot-tub and an outdoor firepit, a foosball table and indoor/outdoor tables, a cornhole and a foosball game, two (2) fireplaces, and many other games for guests.  
The owners of Misty Ridge Retreat have renovated the entire house with meticulous care. They were able to create a home that would meet the expectations of luxury renters. We are delighted to partner with them and offer this extraordinary mountain getaway to vacationing families for many years.  
The roads at Misty Ridge Retreat are paved and maintained. We recommend 4WD if you plan to visit during the winter. Two vehicles are parked on a level within a few steps of the front door. The main floor is accessed by a small step from the covered porch. On the front porch, you will also find a comfortable rocking chair and a cornhole game.  
The main floor features a great-room with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. It also has comfortable leather furniture and a stone gas fireplace. Large windows and glass doors reveal the layered mountain views. There are many custom options available, including the unique hand-carved table.

The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals for your family. The adjacent dining room can accommodate up to nine (9) guests, six (6) people at a dining table and three (3) more barstools on the adjacent kitchen peninsula. Enjoy the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop while you eat. The rear deck can be accessed from the dining area or the great room. The outdoor dining set includes a four-seater table and two (2) barstools. Gas grills can be used for outdoor grilling.  
The queen bedroom is located on the first floor. It has an HD Smart TV and an ensuite bathroom that includes a marble vanity and a tiled shower.  
There is a media/game area upstairs that can be used either as a queen-size bed or a couch. A HD Smart TV, a table with checkers/chessboards and backgammon are also included. The loft has a laundry room and a half-bathroom with a washer/dryer. On the built-in shelves, you can find other boardgames and puzzles for family fun.  
The lower level has two additional bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The bunk suite can be found at the bottom of stairs. It features a twin-over-full bunk bed with twin trundle, an HD Smart Tv and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom is updated with a granite sink and a tiled shower with frameless glass. The master bedroom has a large king-sized bed and a gas log fire place. It also has an HD Smart TV. There is a large sitting area, as well as large windows and doors with great views. The master bathroom has a large soaking bathtub, a separate tiled shower and a frameless tempered glass door. The sliding glass doors in the master bedroom lead to a rear deck furnished with a bistro and chairs, as well as a comfortable swing for napping.  
The courtyard is located on the side of the home and is accessible from the lower deck at the back and the porch at the front via steps. The hot tub is hidden in a lush garden with native Rhododendrons. There is also a gazebo to cover the hot-tub, a gas fire pit, and Adirondack chair. Enjoy a warm fire or hot tub while you admire the peaceful mountaintops. Under the front porch, you will find a latticed hideaway for ping-pong with a full size table.  
Misty Ridge Retreat offers a range of luxury amenities and comforts, as well as games and other entertainment. It is also near the best attractions in the High Country. This is a great place to vacation, whether you want to have a relaxing getaway with your family or explore the many things that the NC High Country has to offer. Boone is only ten (10) minute drive away. Within four (4) miles, you will find downtown Blowing Rock. Tweetsie Railroad is eight (8) miles away. Twelve (12 miles) away are Grandfather Mountain, and its popular hiking trail Profile. Appalachian Ski Mountain is less than 8 mi away. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Sugar Mountain Public Golf Club are 16 miles away. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is located approximately 24 miles away. Bass and Trout Lakes as well as Watauga River or the New River are both within a few moments. Three (3) miles away is the Blue Ridge Parkway. Nearby, you can find everything that you need, including shopping, restaurants, whitewater rafting and winter sports, zip lines, and fishing.

Important: Only two (2) cars per household are allowed. No trucks, vans, or commercial vehicles that are oversize. The HOA of the neighborhood monitors parking at this property. Please limit the number of vehicles you have on site to two (2). Additional vehicles can be parked at our Boone location. The closest one is located less than 10 minutes away from the property.  
Misty Ridge Retreat is only available for private events and quiet gatherings. Respect the full-time community members by being mindful of others and treating them with respect. After 10 PM, the outside noise should be kept to a minimal.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You can cancel within 24 hours and receive a refund. Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival will result in 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are not eligible for refunds. If you have travel coverage and the reason of cancellation is covered, you can get the full amount back.
