Property Description

Mountainside Lodge in Valle Crucis is a spacious and comfortable cabin. This spacious cabin, with seven (7) sleeping rooms and five and a quarter (5.5) bathrooms, is nestled in the forest. It's a perfect mountain getaway. The living room, which is designed with warm wood details and a cozy fireplace, has ample seating around a large HDTV. A bright sunroom, with additional seating, is located on the opposite side of the fireplace. The kitchen is equipped to accommodate a large crowd, with three (3) ovens and stainless appliances. There is also plenty of space for everyone to gather around the large island. The covered porch has additional seating for dining outdoors. There are 18 seats at multiple tables in the house. The wrap-around porch also boasts swings and chairs for enjoying the surrounding mountain views.

The game room has a pool and air hockey table as well as an arcade machine, darts and a large HDTV. The hot tub is conveniently located outside on the porch, just outside the main living space. The fire pit is equipped with Adirondack chairs and Red Cedar stumps for a marshmallow toast.


This home is not pet-friendly.



Mountainside Lodge does not allow service animals. The request for a service animal must be denied due to a severe allergic reaction that makes the admission of a dog a direct danger to the health and safety of the property owner. ***



There are two (2) washer/dryer units for large groups. There is parking space for five (5) cars.
The driveway to this home is steep, gravelly and requires 4WD regardless of the weather.


This home is only two minutes away from the historic Mast General Store and the Valle Crucis Community Park with its multiple playgrounds, soccer fields, basketball courts, walking trails, as well as access to the Watauga river to enjoy fishing, floating, and swimming.
