Welcome to Mountain Melody!

This cozy, sweet house is less than 5 miles away from Blowing Rock’s main street. The house is located in a private neighborhood with trees. You can still be close to the High Country's attractions and activities while getting away from it all. This 3BR/2BA house offers a relaxing getaway for families, with beautiful views. It also has a basement gaming area with foosball & ping-pong. A large, sloping backyard includes a picnic table, a charcoal grill and a firepit.

Mountain Melody offers a relaxing atmosphere. It has high ceilings with lots of natural light, leather furnishings, and a gas fireplace made from stacked stones. The living room is separated from the kitchen by a granite bar with stools. The kitchen has a table and is spacious enough for preparing meals. The glass doors of the kitchen lead out to the deck where you'll find a gas barbecue and multiple outdoor dining areas. These spaces overlook stunning mountain views.

The master bedroom, located on the main floor, has a TV and an ensuite bathroom. It also offers a view of Mount Everest. Upstairs, you will find a queen sized bedroom, twin bedroom and loft space with twin daybeds and trundles. The loft includes a flat screen TV mounted on the wall, beanbags, and games suitable for all ages. The cabin can sleep up to 7 people comfortably.

Mountain Melody is less than a mile from Highway 321, which makes it a great place for anyone traveling from Charlotte or through Charlotte. Within a few miles, you can find downtown Blowing Rock. Appalachian Ski Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad can be found within 5 miles. Mountain Melody guests are able to reach Boone within ten miles. This makes it easy to reach Valle Crucis, Sugar Mtn., Grandfather Mtn. and all of the other attractions in the High Country.

Other amenities include central heating, air conditioning and a balcony on the main and upper floors. The basement is cool with a back oven stove to heat it. You can stream TV through your smart TVs, or log into your own streaming account. WiFi may not allow simultaneous streaming of multiple devices. Reservations are allowed for two pets each of which cannot exceed 30 pounds. There may be additional pet fees.

The cabin is located along a narrow gravel path with typical mountain inclines. Navigation is slow. Each guest receives detailed directions to the cottage. A gravel parking area is located just outside the covered entrance. Three cameras are installed at the house for the purpose of capturing the driveway, exit road and road.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Cancel within 24 hours to receive a refund. Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival will result in 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are not eligible for refunds. If you have travel coverage and the reason of cancellation is covered, you can get the full amount back.
