This cottage is located on Abena Point, one of the nicest locations on Great Pond and overlooks the cove on which the book "On Golden Pond" was based on. A Geat location for family vacation with large grass yard, dock, and swimming area. The first floor is large and spacious with lots of windows looking out to the lake just 20 feet away.

There are many miles of well-maintained trails through the Kennebec Highlands and local guides specializing in fishing trips. Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, a public, top 5 rated course in the country is just minutes from Belgrade Lakes Village. World class rafting trips on the Kennebec, Dead and Penobscot rivers are only 90 minutes away. Acadia National Park is only 2 hours away. The famous LL Bean store and Freeport outlet shopping is only a 45 minute drive from the lakes. The Belgrade Community Center also offers fun summer activities for the kids.
