We are located 7 miles south of Gold Beach (19 miles north of Brookings), Oregon. Our 3500 sf. ft., 3 story home sits on a magical 12 acre site. It has 4 bedrooms (with 2 additional futons), 3.5 baths, comfortable living and dining areas, a large game room with an antique full size shuffle board table, foos ball, ping pong, and darts. (Think we like games?)
And the land! When you are not surrounded by magnificent old growth forest, you are being hypnotized by the beautifully rugged Pacific Ocean coastline. We are literally "on top of" the most photographed section of the entire Oregon coast - with huge monolithic rocks, tide pools, and an ever changing creek seeking the ocean directly below. Private deeded access takes you directly onto 6.5 miles of incredibly gorgeous beach to explore.

This is a beautiful home and we had a wonderful time. We spent many hours at the beach, took the mail boat run up the Rogue River and dad and son went salmon fishing. This place is like a dream come true… We definitely want to come back next summer and stay in the “really cool” home.

Breathtaking – the most fantastic view on the Oregon Coast! I could sit on the deck for the rest of my life. I’m the most relaxed I’ve been in years. This is such an oasis from hectic life. Come here and forget the rest of the world…This house is so easy to stay in and relax in your comfortable chairs and still see all the beautiful sights outdoors. We’ve enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house had a little of everything for our wide age group. Our boys enjoyed the basketball hoop and ping pong table. My husband and I fell in love with the views from the master bedroom. My parents who have stayed in numerous places in CA,WA, and Hawaii really enjoyed how spacious this house was with spectacular views from just about every room. Having beach access that you could drive to was a huge rental plus, since my dad has back problems. We have enjoyed our days in your house and look forward to coming again.

We are both photographers so we took loads of photos. It was difficult for us to drive the PCH and not stop every 5 minutes for yet another great shot. We absolutely LOVED the place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a gorgeous view and your house is wonderful and takes full advantage of the view. We had our oldest daughter, our next oldest and her son, our youngest daughter with her husband, two daughters and one son and our son, his fiancé and his son. The grandchildren are 11, 7, 7, 5 and 4. We were able to get them out to the beach two times while we were there. We stopped by Harris beach for a while, did a little rock climbing, kite flying and running around. Harris beach has a lot of memories for our family and we stop there every time we can, when we're near. The first day was great weather while the next two were spotty showers..... kinda Oregon coast winter weather. A down side to the trip was that my son-in-law had to leave after a day. He was really bummed (sp?) out. He's a Sherriff's deputy in Jackson County and couldn't get anyone to cover for him.

We are back home after such a wonderful trip to the coast. I can not believe the view your house has.There is just so much to do as well. We went horseback riding, fishing, beach combing, hiking, to see the redwoods, to the aquarium, to a wild animal safari, to the prehistoric gardens, and much more. Needless to say it is nice to be home so I can get some rest. Even the rainy days were filled with shuffleboard and ping pong. Anyway Thank you again we had a wonderful time.

Your beautiful home with stunning white cap ocean views was home for my 2 east coast brothers and my families' reunion Thanksgiving 2007. Our diversified family were all thrilled. The views alone are sufficient, but to have direct beach access with our horses was beyond my dreams. Cousins reunited after 20 years had a blast with shuffleboard and ping pong, beachcombing and more. And oh my, were we blessed with the weather! The views, the beach, the horses, the game room....absolutely fabulous. We didn't want the week to end! We were all renewed, restored, rested and re-acquanited! Thank you so very much.

Morris and I arrived home yesterday. We had a fabulous time. Your house is fantastic! I am not one to lounge in bed but I must tell you it was a challenge to get up in the mornings.I could have lain in the bed(so comfortable) and watched the ocean. I did sit in the chair every morning to say prayers and meditate(I am a spiritual director) it was a blessed time.
The second week our children and their spouses came and we had a wonderful joyous time together. I am sure we will return one day.
Our daughter Claire was curious about your horses, she is a sports massage therapist for horses. She and her husband live in Portland. I could go on and on but many thanks for sharing your home we all loved it.

We just got home from staying at your house in Oregon.
The house was everything you promised we had a great
time. We had 2 less dogs and that worked out really
well. The weather was perfect only one day of rain.
We went for a horse ride on the beach it was a first
for our son and the girls who took us out were a

I did not get a chance to write in your Guestbook, but I would like to tell you, we all have a great time and your house is beautiful. The weather was not sunny, but watching the storms move through the beach was spectacular. By far our favorite spot of congregate was the dining room table, we had a great time playing games and relaxing together. The kitchen was a dream for preparing our meals, we prefered eating in to going out for our meals. I did not stay in your master suite, but I did go in, it is simply beautiful. All in all we had a great weekend, and would recommend staying at your home to anybody who asks.
