Property Information
Fox Creek Waterside Cabin is nearly on top of the creek! From the deck, the sound of the water tumbling over the rocks will be your constant music. The cabin is located in a secluded valley in the southern Smoky Mountains, yet only two miles from the Bryson City grocery stores, restaurants,shopping and railroad. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just to the north with scenic drives to Clingman's Dome, Cades Cove, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Ocanuluftee Visitor Center just minutes away. A short drive brings you to Cherokee where your can visit Indian museums, go shopping for native crafts, enjoy the outdoor drama 'Unto These Hills' or visit the casinos. A scenic drive beyond Cherokee takes you to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN. Nearby is the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad for an old time scenic ride or dinner train, the Cheoah, Nantahala or Tuckasegee Rivers for up to Class IV+ whitewater rafting or milder 'rafting with the kids', horseback riding stables and the Tsali Recreation Area where you can go mountain biking in the Nantahala National Forest.

These 2 days were vary relaxing for the family. Last night we enjoyed the cool air and the hot water in the hot tub. Today we went to the Smoky Mountain Gold & Ruby Mine, The kids loved it. This afternoon we walked up stream to see the waterfall. It is beautiful, a must to see. We really like the cabin and will plan to come back in the summer. Have a wonderful 2008.

With the rooster cockaling,the parents snoring, the creek babling, the waterfall gushing, the ladybugs a flight, the hot-tub bubling, the fireplace crackling and the smell of a ru cabin, makes us feel right at home during the holiday season. We're already planning another trip here, there is always something to do. We bought a Wii for the family, but ended up playing the good old board games in the cabin, especially Cranium! In case you are wondering, the waterfall is a short 5 minute walk up the stream. Happy New Year!

We had a great time, your cabin is very nice! We hope to come back in the summertime for whitewater rafting. Our girls loved the Polar Express train ride. We went to a petting zoo in Cherokee & the girls fed the bears. We will definately reccommend you to our friends.

Very nice, we love the hot tub and the fireplace. The view was wonderful! Our family had so much fun. Lucky for us the night after we got here they had the tree lighting ceremony and caroling downtown, it was so much fun.

Oh My Gosh!! We had a wonderful time and what a lovely cabin to stay in. The waterfall, hot tub, fireplace - just great. Our 6 year old grand daughter had a ball, Now her favorite animal is the FOX. It snowed on the 15th, that was totally awesome!! We tore up the trout yesterday, 11 bagged and 2 monsters got away. Nothing better than out of the stream and onto the grill rainbow trout. We'll be back, it was truly a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Wonderful! The cabin is lovely and the waterfall a treat. The Smoky Mountain NP has breat-taking views. We spent one day driving throughthe park and we stopped in Gatlinburg for lunch - what a zoo! Yesterday we took the train to Nantahala Gorge and today we'll see the Cherokee Museum.

08/05/07 We had a wonderful time and enjoyed having a couple of days and a comfortable place to get away and just relax. It was nice to have an Internet connection but we have to admit that we only used it for a few minutes to get directions. We gambled a bit. Eric lost $10 but Pamela won enough to spring for dinner at the Huddle House around the corner from the casino. (It was the only place we could find that was open when we left the casino.) We went gem stone mining one day and found some neat stones at Ruby Mines on W. 74. We also went white water rafting with Paddle Inn rafting on the Nantahala and bought a CD of photos from Paddle Inn afterward of us going down the rapids at the end... backward... and of Eric hitting Pamela in the head with his paddle in a futile attempt to turn the yak back around. We managed to go down the falls without falling out and Eric managed to get back into good graces with Pamela with a foot massage. The hot tub was especially relaxing that evening after a day of paddling on the river. The only downside to the trip is that we didn't plan to stay longer and that Eric's brother and sister-in-law couldn't make it this time. We hope to come back soon!

While staying in this "Foxy" hideaway, our family has created memories that will not be forgotten... The hot tub was fantastic after a day of tubing on Deep Creek... We are sad to say goodbye to this nice cabin and the friendly foxes that fill it's walls....we'd love to say here again.

It's been a resful week here at the cabin. We really enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the mountains. We ventured out on many day trips: Road to Nowhere, Fontana Dam, Waterfalls near Highlands, foade the Smoky Mountain Railroad and went horseback riding in Cherokee. The hot-tub came in handy to soak our tired muscles after horseback riding! The Everett Diner on Main St has the best breakfast around, delicious! Have a great time, I know we'll be back.

We all enjoyed being in this cabin. I's so comfortable and neat... Even though we only stayed a week, we enjoyed as much as we could... We are touring several SE US states and our week at Fox Creek was the high point of our 4 week tour... The waterfall and hot tub are excellent!... We all agree it was one of the best moments in our lives and had a great journey!

What a cute cabin and location! We loved being able to play scoccer in the meadow and take hikes. Bryson City's best feature is he the Soda Shop! :) We went into the hot tub everyday because it was very cold. We hope to come back to Fox Creek Cabins next Spring Break.
