Moosehead Lodge is new to our collection of vacation rentals. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, an exquisite fireplace, a great kitchen and dining area, and relaxing deck. The deck isn’t the only reason you’ll wantto relax outside – there’s a fire-pit, and a new hot tub was just installed.
Dazzling Panorama at Moosehead Lodge. If you’re looking for an intimate vacation retreat combining sweeping, long range mountain views with seclusion from the outside world, then the Moosehead Lodge is for you. Nestled in the woods high above the surrounding valley, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Nantahala National Forest while you soak in the outdoor hot tub any time of day and any time of the year, grill up steaks out on the deck, or sit by the outdoor fire pit.
This recently built two bedroom, two bath log cabin offers all the conveniences of a modern vacation home, including satellite TV, wireless high speed internet access, upscale leather and wood furnishings, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. The massive vaulted ceiling and spacious windows allow for enjoyment of the spectacular mountain views from the king sized bed in the upstairs loft or practically anywhere else in the cabin.
Conveniently located in the Sky Cove area outside of Bryson City, Moosehead Lodge is just minutes from nearby shopping, dining, and local attractions. For the outdoor enthusiast, you’re only a few miles away from hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, kayaking on the Nantahala River, or mountain biking in the Tsali Recreation Area.

| Cancellation Policy: Due to the nature of our business, and the fact that people generally book our cabins well in advance, we require a minimum of 30 days notice in order to give a full refuend of a deposit, less a $75.00 cancellation fee. If you must cancel your reservation with less than 30 days notice of your arrival date, and we are able to re-rent your cabin in full, we will be happy to refund your deposit, less the $75.00 service charge. In the even of an early departure, bad weather, or poor road conditions, we cannot provide a refund. |

| Other Policies: Pets are permitted only with prior approval. Additional pet rental and additional Damage Deposit on your credit card will apply. Any pets residing on the property that have not been pre-approved shall result in the termination of Tenant's tenancy, loss of security deposit in full, and may be subject to additional fees. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up of any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture will be subject to additional fees. All pets must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations and must be free from fleas. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical fela and tick repellent three days prior to arrival. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. |

What an amazing retreat! My wife and I came to Moosehead to share a wonderful experience while I am home on R & R from Iraq. I cannot imagine a more perfect spot for our family! We had a peaceful 3 days enjoying hikes, the hot tub, and bonfires!
Your home is very cozy and warm with such a wonderful loft bed to enjoy the scenery.
You never feel the need to get in a car and drive anywhere as the roads here are great for hiking.
