Villa Mar Vista is located on the Pacific Ocean along the Sunset Cliffs Nature Park near secluded sandy beach coves and tidepools. Villa Mar Vista is in the heart of all of San Diego's major attractions. Our central location puts you less than 10 minutes from Sea World and Mission Bay, the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, as well as Old Town, and the many attractions of downtown San Diego (Convention Center, Gaslamp District, Seaport Village, The Midway the Airport).
Villa Mar Vista is a sprawling Ranch–Style home laid out in an "L-shaped" configuration with the dining room, living room and master bedroom all facing the ocean (west) with gorgeous ocean views. The Kitchen is just east of the dining room and the den is just east of the living room. The den opens onto the patio with outdoor seating for 16, and the huge fenced and gated yard. There are oceanviews from the pool, and the outdoor ping pong table and seating area next to the pool. The 5 bedrooms are all on the long leg of the "L" with the 3 bathrooms providing private or semi-private (Jack and Jill baths) direct access to most of the bedrooms. Three of the five bedrooms have private entrances to the outside that provide greater access for the families using these bedrooms.
Relax in spacious comfort with stunning whitewater ocean views from your living room. Villa Mar Vista encompasses over 3000 square feet of living space in 5 bedrooms (each bedroom has either a king, a queen or two twins), a den (queen futon sofa), living room (two queen sofabeds with innerspring mattress). We even provide you with porta-cribs, highchairs and aerobeds for the kids.
You will have 16 bed spaces for your family group, reunion or corporate retreat. The huge backyard has a stainless steel BBQ Grill and a new aluminum Kettler Ping-Pong table. There are also 5 boogey boards, 6 bicycles, sporting goods, and numerous board games and puzzles. The oceanfront home sits on an estate-sized lot measuring approximately 65 feet wide by 180 feet deep. The fenced and gated back yard is approximately 5000 square feet and the large grassy front yard is great for playing soccer with the kids. There is even a 24-foot by 30-foot sports pad in the backyard where the ping-pong table is set up.

We like to go the extra mile to outfit the home with everything that you need (down to dishwashing and laundry detergent!) so that you can spend the week enjoying the great attractions that San Diego has to offer.
San Diego's Crown Jewel Location: Villa Mar Vista lies right on the oceanfront Sunset Cliffs Nature Park—the distance from the Villa Pacific property to the Pacific Ocean being 25 yards--you merely walk across the oceanfront street, Sunset Cliffs—a one lane road in each direction that dead-ends a mile about 4 blocks south of Villa Mar Vista. Villa Mar Vista enjoys an expansive estate-sized oceanfront lots (12,000 square feet)--among the largest of any San Diego Oceanfront community.
The shoreline immediately in front of Villa Mar Vista includes coastal formations, tide pool areas (just 50 yards in front of the house where you can view sea anemones, crabs, small fish and other sea life) and several white sand cove beaches that are accessible from steps and trails (the closest cove beach is 200 yards south of the house). Sunset Cliffs Nature Park: Dedicated in 1983, Sunset Cliffs Nature Park stretches along the Pacific Ocean bordering the western edge of Point Loma. The Nature Park begins just north of Villa Mar Vista and follows the natural beauty of the California Coast for two miles where the 68-acre Sunset Cliffs Nature Park links up with the 640 acre Point Loma Ecological Reserve.
The entire area is designated a multiple species conservation area with the topography including white sand cove beaches with great surfing, bogey boarding and body-surfing, calmer tide pool areas, intricately carved coastal bluffs, arches, and sea caves—there is something for everybody from the surfer to the birdwatcher at the Sunset Cliffs Nature Park.
Naturalists visit Sunset Cliffs Nature Park to watch the annual migration of the California Gray Whale as it makes its springtime trip from the Bering sea the Baja California where the calf their young.

Villa Mar Vista is on the oceanfront street called Sunset Cliffs. The oceanfront is a mix of bluffs and sandy cove beaches. Directly west of Villa Mar Vista are tidepools that the kids can explore.
There are 4 or 5 sandy cove beaches nestled among the bluffs and the closest small cove beach (50 feet wide by 20 feet deep) is two blocks north of the house away and a large cove beach (approx. 400 feet wide by 50 feet deep) is two blocks south. For the closest beach with lifeguard towers you can take the kids to nearby Ocean Beach that stretches from the Ocean Beach pier (north of Villa Mar Vista) to the Mission Bay channel. This lifeguarded beach is totally flat with no bluffs and is over 1/2 mile long by 200 feet wide--it is a huge beach.
We are the closest to downtown San Diego of any collection of spacious Oceanfront estates.
