You’ll enter our area thru “The Prettiest Little Valley in North Carolina” before turning up into the mountains. The road up follows along a creek filled with waterfalls and rapids to an area called Waterfall Hollow.
If you are looking for serenity, you will find it here at Mount-Rush-No-More amongst the valley, woods, and waterfalls. You can enjoy the covered front porch with your morning coffee, a BBQ lunch, or a sunset happy hour, seated on the swing and rocking chairs. The flow of the creek will ease you to sleep every evening. An affordable price gives you more than a motel in this peaceful retreat, while still being close to shopping, dining, and recreation.
Mount-Rush-No-More comfortably sleeps four adults or six with children. In the loft bedroom, you’ll be sleeping in the comfort of a double bed under the pine vaulted ceiling. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and a queen air mattress is available for children. The cabin is tastefully decorated and offers a fully furnished kitchen, linens and towels, satellite TV, local phone, and a wood burning stove. The cabin is air conditioned by nature.
You’ll be in the center of the activities in the Smokys. You can enjoy nearby rafting on the Tuckasegee or the Nantahala Rivers, mountain biking in Tsali recreation area, tubing on Deep Creek, hiking the Appalachian Trail, or the natural areas in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Just down the hill and in the valley is the newly refurbished 18-hole golf course at the Smoky Mountain Country Club. Fontana Dam & Lake is just a few miles away for boating and for live theater, don’t miss the outdoor docu-drama, "Unto These Hills" by Cherokee Indians performed nightly in the summer. You can take a scenic ride on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, gamble at Harrah's Cherokee Casino, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, or take the kids to Santa Land and Ghost Town amusement parks. The mountain towns of Bryson City, Dillsboro and Sylva are just minutes away for antique shopping, blue grass music, dining and so much more in their quaint downtown areas. And, Asheville with the famous Biltmore Estate is just an hour away.
All this special place needs is you!
