Serenity is among the best units we have rented during our 40+ years visiting the Outer Banks (we usually only visit every few years, not annually). The rooms were a little smaller than expected, but well appointed and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent, especially for a pet friendly unit - our 2 senior dogs were with us. Proximity to the beach is a real advantage - only 100 or so feet to 2 different beach accesses. The unit is also very close to 2 different groceries, Duck Donuts, Big Bucks Ice Cream, many restaurants and shops, Wild Horse Tours, and the charm of old town Corolla. All 3 generations of our family, ages 77 to 16, especially enjoyed the Wild Horse Fund gift shop and the Island Bookstore. Beach Realty was easy to work with, special thanks to Scott in the Corolla office.

The house was very cute. It had the perfect layout with the jack and Jill bathrooms. The beach was a close walk. We could walk to the shops on an evening stroll.

Great location short access to beach, shopping and restaurants.
Well stocked kitchen w/ boiling pots and new Keurig.
Stunning views from decks and kids room tower. Upper deck is in need of maintenance. Not toddler safe!
Dog friendly!! Carpets were badly stained!
Property needs basic upkeep and cleaning.
Children’s equipment needs to be updated. Spacious rooms but home
could use another King size bed. Overall stay was great!

We had a wonderful time. We have never been so close to the beach and had such nice views of the ocean. The house was decently clean with the exception of stains on the carpet and bed in the main bedroom upstairs. It would have been nice to have an extra broom downstairs and the vacuum did not work. The roof leaks in the upstairs bathroom in the bedroom and also water came in the front door and the sliding door in the living room

The best family vacation since coming to OBX and loved the house. The house was perfect size and very clean and nicely decorated. Only thing might be different in house would be another queen size bed instead of 2 bund beds.

Loved staying at Serenity, house was absolutely beautiful, had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bedrooms were spacious and living area was great for our large group! The kids area was wonderful and the four kids with us enjoyed having their own space. Enjoyed being able to use the hot tub on our rainy days. So close to the beach and the ocean views were beautiful!

I thought the house was very nice and well located. Easy walk to beach and shopping, etc. The only issue is there were ants in the kitchen. Otherwise we had a wonderful week and would stay at this beach house again.

Fantastic week at the beach. This house had everything we needed to make our vacation successful: sheets were provided , towels provided, fantastic views of the ocean AND MOST IMPORTANTLY , very short distance to 2 beach access points! Literally, this house is less than a 2 minute walk to the beach.

The bedrooms were nice and the bathrooms spacious . The yard was well-kept, which was nice for the dog. The pool was clean and refreshing.

Overall, I would strongly recommend this property.

The location was perfect and the size of the pool was terrific for the grandchildren. The size of the kitchen, dining and great rooms were all a bit tight for our 10 people. The weather was perfect!

This home provides a great space for family time and is in an excellent location. It is close to stores and the beach. Some things needed a little fixing while we were there and that may have been because we were at the end of the season. The management company took care of any concerns we had.
