Welcome to Riverside Retreat!
Riverside Retreat is a house with two (2) bedrooms and a loft. It sleeps as if it were three (3) bedrooms. It has two (2) bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other with a king. The loft upstairs, furnished with a queen-size bed and a sleeper couch, can be used as both a bedroom and an area to relax. The downstairs family room has a queen-size sofa that can be used as a fourth bedroom.
The main floor has a large open kitchen and dining area with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. The living room features a Buck Stove with a gas burner and an HDTV. The main floor master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and en suite bathroom. The open loft/bedroom upstairs also has a two seat arcade machine with 50 different games, and a comfortable queen sleeper couch. Upstairs, there is a bathroom. The downstairs features a game/family room, which includes an HDTV, Xbox One, pool table and a queen sleeper couch. A second bedroom suite with a king-sized bed, HDTV and a bathroom is located downstairs.
Riverside Retreat is pet-friendly and offers central heating, air conditioning, a washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. Only dogs are allowed, and pet fees will apply.
A covered courtyard is located on the lower level, with rocking chairs facing the river. The main level features a large deck with Adirondack chairs, an outdoor dining table and a gas barbecue. The main level's front porch has comfortable outdoor furniture and a view of the river.
A short walk downhill from the cabin will lead you to a large grassy area that is perfect for outdoor fun! The property has a private fire pit, and hundreds of feet along the river. There are many acres of wooded land with unmarked trails above the cabin. The property has both wooded and cleared land for hikers, as well as a lot of river frontage.
Riverside Retreat is located just minutes from downtown Boone. It's less than 14 miles to Blowing Rock and less than 24 miles to Banner Elk. Valle Crucis can be reached in twenty (20) minutes. Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad and other attractions are all within ten (10) mile distance. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is about twenty (20 miles) away from Hawksnest Snowtubing & ZipLines. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is approximately thirty (30) minutes away. Riverside Retreat offers privacy and convenience!
