Property Description

Welcome to Happy Apple. Happy Apple is an historic, charming 3BR farmhouse cottage. It has been renovated in order to meet the demands of even the most demanding guest. The 6 acres of land located just outside Blowing Rock is the property's biggest asset. There are a number of creeks, streams and footbridges that cross the property. There are two picnic areas, each with a charcoal grill and a gazebo. A large grassy field is also available for children and dogs to play and run in safety. The property has a small, fun playhouse for children. Bolick Pottery is located on the border of Happy Apple. Bolick Pottery hosts a number of social events throughout the entire year. The public is invited to visit their workshop, purchase special pieces in their gift shop, meet the potters and even perform live on weekends.

The house is a charming two-story home, with hardwood floors all over. The main floor has high ceilings and large living and dining rooms, as well as kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The open concept provides many places to relax, play, or watch TV using the HD Smart TV. On the main floor, there is a laundry room with washer and dryer. A half-bathroom is also available. The front porch is spacious enough to rock in rocking chairs while enjoying the view of the meadows and fire pits. There are also gazebos and streams.

You will find a cozy living room, a master bedroom with Smart HDTV, a king-sized bed, a second bedroom with a king, and a bunkroom with two sets of Twin over twin bunk beds. The three bedrooms are spacious and feature tongue and groove vaulted-ceilings and exposed beams. The central bathroom upstairs has been updated to include a double vanity, tub, and shower. Each bedroom is equipped with its own climate control so guests can adjust the temperature to their liking. Happy Apple is comfortable all year round.

Happy Apple is located less than a mile from Highway 321, which makes it a great option for anyone coming from Charlotte. Within a few miles, you can find downtown Blowing Rock. Appalachian Ski Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad can be found within 5 miles. Boone is about ten miles from Happy Apple. The guests of Happy Apple can easily visit Valle Crucis, Sugar Mtn., Grandfather Mtn. and other attractions in the High Country.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Cancel within 24 hours to receive a refund. Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival will result in 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are not eligible for refunds. If you purchased travel insurance, you may be able to recover the entire amount if your cancellation was covered.
