LA SEA BOHEME (FORMERLY KNOWN AS BEACHCOMBER) has been recently updated with fresh new bedding, artwork and furnishings and is ready to make some fabulous memories! This stunning Mediterranean style home is located in the prestigious Sunset Beach gated community. Just a few steps take you to the exclusive beach or community pool. The home boasts 4 generous bedrooms, all with their own private bathrooms. The Master suite is beach side with its own living space with memory foam sleeper sofa, large TV, morning kitchen and covered deck. The Master bath boasts a large jacuzzi tub, and dual vanities. The laundry room is conveniently located just down the hall, across the hall is the Kid's bunk room with 4 single twin beds and their own private bathroom with a tub / shower combo. Bayside on this level is another Master suite with king bed, private bath with shower and bayside porch with some lovely views of Apalachicola Bay. The elevator services all 3 levels, making it super easy to off load your luggage and groceries. Upstairs is the main living area with soaring ceilings and lots of natural light. The dining room is bayside with seating for 8, the kitchen perfectly located in the middle with 2 island bars on either side with 4 barstools, and the spacious living room beachside with cozy seating and a separate bar table and barstools. The views are truly amazing from any place on this upper main floor. You can cook with family in the kitchen and look out over the aqua blue waters of the Gulf Of Mexico or view spectacular bayside sunsets! Another Master suite is located on this top level with king bed, private bath with shower and bayside porch. This home has been lovingly arranged to meet all our guests needs, with high end kitchen equipment and small appliances, perfect for entertaining large families. Just off the living room is a large covered porch beachside with bar height Polywood table, chairs and Adirondack chairs, making it the perfect place to lounge away the day. The ground level has parking under the home with space for 4 cars, an outdoor enclosed hot/cold shower, fish cleaning sink and table and new charcoal grill. The boardwalk to the beach is directly across the street and literally just a few easy steps to the beach. This home has access to the Sunset Beach an open-air clubhouse, heatedncommunity pool and tennis court.

"This house was PERFECT. We had three families (six adults and six kids) and we all had enough space to spread out. There is a balcony accessible to every bedroom plus one off the main living space. The house has great views of the gulf and bay sides of the island. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much any appliance and baking dish/sheet/pot/pan you could need. We packed our food for the week and were able to cook every meal without needing to bring any cooking utensils. Bring your own spices as due to COVID these are not provided. The elevator made loading and unloading coolers and supplies a breeze. There is even an automatic ice maker we used to keep coolers for the beach stocked with ice (although we did purchase some ice for our large coolers later in the week to help keep up). The boardwalk to the beach is just off the back of the garage. The beach was so close our older kids were able to walk back alone to get anything they forgot to bring to the beach. We rented kayaks and paddle boards from Journey's in town and they delivered them to the house. If the waves and current aren't bad, you can take the kayak and paddle board straight to the gulf or ask the staff at Journey's about public launching points from the bay side (you'll have to be able to transport in your own vehicle for this). You can also launch into the bay or gulf from the state park next door. The bike path that runs the length of the island is just behind the house. We used this daily for runs and bike rides. There is a community pool but we only used it once as we preferred to be near the gulf. There are ice cream shops and restaurants close by but due to COVID we chose not to patron them. If they're like everything else on the island, I'm sure they're great places to get good food. There is a grocery store and Dollar General on the island to pick up random things you might forget. There's also a souvenir shop that has decent prices on items you may have forgotten or run out of. It was nice to not get charged an arm and a leg for extra sunscreen :) The host was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The house was spotless with nice sheets/bedding and all of the furniture and accommodations were very comfortable. We were looking for a vacation to spend some time away while being able to socially distance and this was definitely the place to do it. I highly recommend St. George Island and we would stay in this house every time if possible."
