Taiga is located directly on the west shore of Long Lake with a private beach and a 12 foot dock. It is situated in a setting among magnificent pine, hemlock, fir, and birch trees. Originally constructed by local craftsmen over 100 years ago as a hunting camp, it retains much of that flavor today with its unspoiled rustic comfort. The living room has a fieldstone fireplace and the walls are papered with natural birch bark.
Bring your canoe or kayak for an early morning or evening paddle in the calm water, or you may just wish to enjoy the lake view while reading a book on the front porch. You may even hear the call of a loon!
