Hideaway at Highrock is the perfect example of the very best that the Blue Ridge Mountain vacation rentals has to offer. The log home is a very special and well thought out, 2 bedroom cabin that can sleep up to 6 guests, with 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. You can sleep comfortably to the sounds of rushing water in the king size master bed, or the king size bed on the ground level or the queen sleeper. Amenities include: Free Hughes Net Satellite Wi Fi, land line phone, 4 person soothing Hot Tub on the expansive deck overlooking the creek, 8' regulation pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, 4 HDTVs and two Blue Ray players, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a massive exterior hard-wood deck that includes cedar rocking chairs and a round picnic table, and a gas grill, horse shoes, hammocks, and outdoor picnic tables. There is also a 42" open wood burning fire place and an outdoor fire pit, fire wood is provided. Hiking trails and the privacy of your own creek are just footsteps away from the home! This is a mountain cabin rental that takes mountaintop luxury to a new summit!

A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT AND 50% OF RENTAL FEES REQUIRED TO BOOK DATES, WITH REMAINING BALANCE DUE 30 DAYS BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL DATE. RENTAL AGREEMENT WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU IN A PDF FORMAT.
THERE IS A NON REFUNDABLE $125 HOUSE CLEANING FEE
REFUNDABLE $300 DAMAGE SECURITY DEPOSIT IS RETURNED 10 DAYS AFTER CHECK OUT
$50 PET FEE PER DOG FOR DOGS OVER 15 LBS.
TAXES ARE 13% AS OF NOVEMBER 1, 2015
CHECK IN TIMES ARE ANYTME AFTER 4:00 PM. THERE WILL BE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE HOME IN THE GUEST BOOK ON THE KITCHEN TABLE UPON YOUR ARRIVAL.
CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00 AM. THERE IS A CHECK OUT LIST ON THE BACK PAGE OF THE GUEST BOOK, LOCATED ON THE KITHEN TABLE.
SUMMER MONTHS, JULY 4TH WEEK, THANKSGIVING WEEK, CHRISTMAS WEEK, AND NEW YEARS WEEK RENT FROM A SAT TO SAT OR FROM A SUN TO SUN FOR 7 NIGHTS.
ALL OTHER DATES RENT FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 NIGHTS UNLESS THERE ARE ONLY 2 NIGHTS REMAINING BETWEEN BOOKINGS.
13% TAXES ON RENTAL FEES AND CLEANING AND PET FEE
Cancellations by Tenant. In the event of a cancellation by the Tenant greater than 30 days before Rental Date, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by Tenant, less an administration fee of $25.00. In the event of a cancellation by the Tenant 30 - 11 days before Rental Date, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by Tenant, less 50% of Gross Rent. In the event of a cancellation by the Tenant 10 - 1 days before Rental Date, Tenant shall receive no refund of Rental Agreement Total.

Damage Deposits…..PLEASE DO NOT MOVE OR RE-ARRANGE ANY FURNITURE OR BEDS OR ANY TELEVISIONS OR UNPLUG ANY WIRES FROM THE TV'S, OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE A $200 FEE DEDUCTED FROM DAMAGE SECU-RITY DEPOSIT FOR RETURNING FURNITURE/TV'S AND OR TV WIRES TO ORIGINAL LOCATIONS….Tenant agrees to be responsible for any damages to the Premises during the period of tenancy, including damages to the furnishings and household items which result from the action or inaction of the Tenant, excluding, however, normal wear and tear. The amount of the damage deposit is specified on the top of this Agreement. The purpose of the damage deposit is to protect the dwelling/contents from mali-cious or negligent damages and/or dwelling being left abnormally dirty resulting in excessive cleaning cost (i.e. carpet/furniture stains, incomplete check out duties, etc.) It is the Tenant's responsibility to report to the Owner immediately upon arrival any dam-ages found and any repairs and/or maintenance needed. Failure to report any of the above mentioned items prior to check-out could result in full or partial loss of the damage deposit. In addition, Tenant agrees to reimburse Owner for any damage expenses incurred in excess of the damage deposit, including collection costs, if necessary, and reasonable attorneys' fees. The cabins are carefully inspected after each rental. Damage deposits will be processed for return within 10 days after check-out.

The cabin was in immaculate shape with all the exposed logs and modern touches. All the small details shined, from the fireplace with logs ready to be lit, the hot tub on the deck, and the Christmas lights on the house along with a fresh cut Christmas tree! It had all the amenities you need to include extra coffee filters to soap. We fell in love with it when we woke up to over a foot of snow and were able to relax on the property. The land is so big you feel like it’s just you on the mountain, we were able to let our dog off leash to run around and just keep an eye on him from the deck or hot tub! We didn’t need it since we had a Wrangler but it was a nice gesture to see the mountain roads from each property being plowed when it was snowing! The Rosemans know they have an amazing set up and definitely spoil you to feel as if it were your own place! We will definitely be coming back soon.
We needed a short working/relaxing getaway - this Cabin was "Perfect"! Just faraway enough and just close enough to the Town of Black Mountain and Asheville, to enjoy shopping and restaurants. This was a working get-a-way . . . the house was great, clean, open, comfortable furniture and a great king bed; I fixed breakfast every morning with coffee on the deck listening to the creek as the water flowed past in a constant soothing sound. While working at the dining table, even from inside the house, we could hear the water flowing. This made our crunching numbers a little easier. We took breaks and walked the property, played some horse shoes, there are even 2 hammocks to relax in. The icing on the cake was arriving at 9:30 pm in the dark (which by the away - you can't get lost - the directions were "spot-on" with directional signs guiding you) to a welcoming sight and inviting home. . . the house was light with Christmas lights on the outside and the inside was decorated for Christmas with tree, fireplace decorations and even flameless candles burning for us. A hot tub on the deck and then a real fire in the fireplace (not gas) made for relaxing evenings . . . . . . I miss it already. I think we have found our go to place! Thank you for opening up your beautiful cabin for others to enjoy.
This was just a perfect experience ! The cabin is so clean and decorated beautifully! Firewood already there for us and the mountain stream made for an idealic setting! Also the floorplan is great with one master up and one master down. Mike was wonderful to work with and we can't wait to return!!!!!!
Black Mountain is a regular destination for me and my partner and we have stayed in several area vacation rentals in recent years. Since our stay at Hideaway at High Rock, however, we now know where we will be staying for all future visits. The house and property are beautiful and well maintained, but what impressed me the most was the complete absence of all the little things that usually bother me about vacation rentals. When we arrived, there was a full bottle of dish soap and an unopened sponge in the kitchen as well as plenty detergent for the washer and dishwasher. The fridge was empty and the pantry contained some basic spices, cooking, oil, and coffee, but I was grateful that there was no large accumulation of food items left behind by past tenants. The whole property was also immaculately clean.
The pictures of Hideaway genuinely do it justice: this is a lovely home in a fabulous location. What made our stay so great, however, was that the whole experience felt more like checking into a beautiful, secluded hotel than using someone else's vacation home. We will definitely be back soon.
