Karonoko offers rustic comfort in historic cottages and cabins furnished with country antiques, dating from the days of rail and steamer travel. Over a century old, Karonoko has been in the care of the same family for three generations.
The call of the loon nesting nearby is a reminder that Great Pond was the inspiration for On Golden Pond. The problem is choosing where to relax- in the antique wicker or swinging bed on the spacious verandah, in an Adirondack chair by the country garden, in the hammock, or in the sun on one of the docks.
