Does “farm to table” mean the animals were happy and walked to slaughter willingly? I’ve always wondered how an event devoted to mindfulness can support the mindless practice of animal agriculture- no matter where or how it’s done. The smoke and mirrors created by the farm to table catch/marketing lingo does not alter the reality of what takes place before the meal hits the plate.
