This home offers breathtaking views of Lone Peak, and the surrounding mountain ranges. It is worth the 1 mile drive to experience the world-class Beehive Basin Trail. Beehive Basin offers a moderate hike in the summer with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. It also features colorful wildflowers and a clear mountain lake. In the winter it is a popular location for backcountry skiing and snowshoe hiking.

This ski-in/ski out home provides easy access to the 5,850 acres of skiable land that Big Sky Resort offers via the Cascade Lift. DURING THE WINTER MONTHS, (Oct. - May), FOUR-WHEEL-DRIVE IS REQUIRED Winter Season: Cascade Lift operates from December to early-mid-April. Please check Big Sky Resort website for lift operations. Premier Ski AccessWeather dependent, Big Sky Resort is scheduled to operate from November 24, 2020 - April 23, 2020 for the 22/23 season. The White Otter Lift is scheduled to operate from December 16, 2022 through April 9, 2023 between 9 am and 4 pm every day. The Cascade Lift and Little Thunder Lift will be open from December 16, 2020 to April 9, 2023 (11:30 am - 4:30pm) during the winter.

*** Rope Tow Joe will not be running or replaced this winter season. Due to the lack adequate space, any lift or rope-tow at that location is not sustainable.

** Please be aware that the lifts may not be accessible in November, early Decembre, and April. Start your ski day by skiing down Swift Bear and up White Otter directly from the garage. Follow the groomed trails down and then through a ski tunnel that runs under the road. Ski to the Big Sky Resort base area from the White Otter lift. To reach the base area, the easiest way is to immediately turn right onto the narrow traverse to the right of White Wing.

Look for the Powder Ridge Cabins, Cascade Lift and the four trail signs to return home. Follow the sign to the Cascade Lift. Follow the main trail but take a sharp left at the White Otter Access Bridge. Then, continue straight down the hill, following the trail beneath the White Otter lift. Rope Tow Joe will be on your left at the base of the White Otter Lift (down for 22/23 Season). The rope tow will take you to the Cascade lift when you press the Start button. As you ski down Cascade, make a hard left and immediately loop underneath the chairlift. Ski the trail marked with two red reflectors. This will take you back to your back door.

Additional Notes:NO PETS, NO SMOKING We recommend 4 wheel driving in the winter (October-May). It's not a necessity in the summer, but we think it's a great idea! We offer discounts to all guests who book with us for rentals in Bozeman.

According to the rules of the neighborhood/HOA, events of any size are prohibited when staying on this property.

This home is not A/C equipped, like most in the area. The good ol' Montana A/C is encouraged for summer guests. This involves opening windows at night, and closing them during the day. Closing the windows during the day will keep cool air in the house. We ask that you close them if you're not at home.

Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:It is important to have a vehicle available during your stay in order to enjoy all that Big Sky offers. You can travel easily from the Gallatin river to Lone Peak. In other communities, taxis and ride-sharing services are plentiful. However, Big Sky is a small community with limited transportation options. We offer a 5% off code to Explore Rentals. They are located just minutes from the Bozeman airport and offer 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires during the winter and all season tires during the summer.
