Excellent swimming, fishing, boating and golfing in the summer - apple picking and hiking in the fall –alpine and nordic skiing, or snowmobiling in the winter. Nearby towns such as Manchester, Rutland, and Middlebury offer a variety of restaurants and shops, plus there are many places of historical and cultural interest in the area as well.
