Located 8 miles up the beach from the end of highway 12 and accessible only by 4 wheel drive awaits a place that exists somewhere lost in time. You'll awake to Carova's wild horses grazing on sea oats among the dunes. Watch the dolphins frolic up and down the ocean jumping and splashing and feel your worries wash away. Then take a stroll along the beach to find sand dollars left from the changing tides. Watch the beautiful sunset over the sound before looking up to see the milkyway in the Carolina night sky, then let the ocean sing you to sleep. Two are masters opening to wrap around decks with two porch swings and hammock. The bottom level has one bedroom with full bath, a game room with a pool table and kitchenette. Outside, enjoy a large private pool and hot tub. Wish upon a shooting star while enjoying an evening in the hot tub. Come stay awhile and you will fall in love! After you finish watching the horses and dolphins, take a stroll along False Cape State Park to shell for sand dollars and whelks. Enjoy the natural beauty of the undisturbed beaches. Try your luck at surf fishing and crabbing or enjoy just sitting and watching the pelicans fish. Spend the day shopping in Timbuck II or in the town of Duck then enjoy one of their many fine restaurants. Climb the Currituck Lighthouse. Take a drive South on Highway 12 to Hatteras Island and Hatteras Lighthouse and enjoy the over 70 miles of undeveloped National Seashore. Continue South and ride the ferry to Ocracoke Island. Visit Roanoke Island and the North Carolina Aquarium. Take a charter fishing trip from Oregon Inlet, known for some of the best fishing along the Atlantic Coastline. Play a round of golf at the Currituck Club. Take an adventurous kayak or ATV tour. Or just relax on the beach or by the poolside and soak up the day. Don't forget to catch the beautiful sunset over the sound.
