Property Information
Oregon Castaway is a perfect oceanfront getaway where you can spend great times with family and friends while enjoying the spectacular ocean views of the Pacific Coast. The home has everything you will need for a comfortable vacation. You are only 100 feet away from 7 miles of sandy beach where you can enjoy everything from beach combing, building sand castles, playing in the ocean, kite flying, sunning, building beach fires or just relaxing and watching the waves roll in.
Castaway is an ideal home for several families or larger groups. The home can accommodate up to 12 people with 3 bedrooms and a loft. There are 2 queen bedrooms, 1 queen futon room and the loft has 3 singles, 2 doubles and a single futon. The main living area of the home - kitchen, dining and living room - has an open relaxed airy feeling with vaulted ceilings and a paddle fan and has a door that opens to the ocean side deck. The living room has a wood stove (wood provided), TV with DVD/VCR and Dish satellite and comfortable seating. The spacious kitchen with a large cooking island is great for family gatherings while preparing meals. The oceanfront dining room seats 10 and the cooking island seats 3. The separate recreational room has a TV with VCR, Dish satellite and a Foosball table.
There are many family activities to do in the area. With Nehalem Bay to the north and Tillamook Bay to the south you can enjoy fishing, crabbing, clamming and kayaking. Visit the quaint towns of Nehalem, Wheeler, Manzanita and Rockaway with restaurants, gift shops and antique stores. And don't forget Cannon Beach with it's famous Haystack Rock and Tillamook with the Tilamook Cheese Factory.
