Looking for a motel alternative if staying in the Belgrade Lakes area during the summer? Stay at this charming cape located right on the waterfront of Long Pond. Homeowner is onsite(along with her Maine coon cat) in separate living quarters and shares home facilities with the renters. A large porch facing the water offers great sunsets. A dock is available to accomodate boats.
Note: This home can be rented weekly or on a nightly basis(2 night minimum). Maximum number of people is 4 with 2 twin beds and 1 double bed. Owner can offer breakfast meals for an additional fee. Use of the kitchen is limited to the refrigerator for small convenience items. A friendly and interesting cat is on the premises.

The Belgrade Lakes area consists of 7 pristine lakes in a relaxed and quiet setting that is perfect for gatherings of family and friends. Whether it's world class fishing for bass/pike/lake trout, hiking, boating or golfing or just plain old relaxing, the Belgrade Lakes region has it all.
There are many miles of well-maintained trails through the Kennebec Highlands and local guides specializing in fishing trips. Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, a public, top 5 rated course in the country is just minutes from Belgrade Lakes Village. World class rafting trips on the Kennebec, Dead and Penobscot rivers are only 90 minutes away. Acadia National Park is only 2 hours away. The famous LL Bean store and Freeport outlet shopping is only a 45 minute drive from the lakes. The Belgrade Community Center also offers fun summer activities for the kids.
