Compignano is located on a southwest slope in the foothills of the Apuan Alps overlooking the sea to the west and Pisa to the south. Reached by a steep road, the ancient six acre farm, terraced with olives, figs, and fruit trees, is within the woodlands of a national park. It is secluded and exceptionally attractive. The large, stone farmhouse and the barn have been divided in three completely independent residences sharing a 6x12 metre swimming pool on its own protected terrace, a short distance from the houses. The three of them have been completely restored to a high standard, and they retain all the features and the traditional atmosphere of a Tuscan farmhouse. Once an agricultural barn, COMPIGNANO BARN placed in a dominant position, 20 meters from the large farmhouse and closer to the pool. From the bedrooms it is possible to access a very lovely covered veranda, from which there are wonderful views of the surrounding hills, extending as far as the sea. The views from the furnished terrace offer the guests an opportunity for unforgettable outdoor meals
