Location: Around half a mile to downtown Guerneville, Paradise offers an easy, flat walk into town, to Johnson's Beach, or to Pee-Wee Golf (which also has bicycle rentals and video arcade), along with dining and nightlife. Armstrong Woods' hiking trails through the redwoods are a few minutes away. Wine tasting is about 15 minutes to the east. The Pacific Coast is 15 minutes to the west.
House: A spacious, sunny, contemporary home with spectacular river views and private river access, Paradise is well-named. The large living room/dining room features a brick fireplace, a 52" TV with DVD, and a double sleeper. The gourmet kitchen has a Jenn-Aire stove, filtered water with ice-maker, and brick rotisserie. There is also a sunroom overlooking the river and leading outdoors. This home sleeps eight in 3 bedrooms and a sleeper, and has two bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king bed, master bath with double shower and oversized tub, river views, and its own private deck. The second and third bedrooms have queen beds and TVs. All bedrooms have televisions. For those who can't leave work behind, there is wireless high-speed cable Internet access and unlimited toll and national long distance telephone service.
Grounds: Beyond the sunroom, Paradise has a series of private river-bank decks with hot tub, patio dining and gas grill. Down a path and some steps is your private dock and two single kayaks. More boats can be rented at Johnson’s Beach, less than half a mile west. Please note that the docks on this part of the river are not useable unless the summer dams are in, generally from mid-June through September.
