Pineapple Cottage, Spanish Wells. Pineapple Cottage is perched on a hillside overlooking the deserted pink-sand northern beach (a one-two minute walk away). There are two decks to optimize the living space, offering a panoramic view of the ocean. Its garden is filled with tropical flower trees and tropical fruit trees. Humming birds, finches and other birds frequent the garden.
The cottage is situated on a narrow part of the island. So, a short stroll will take you to the 2 1/2 mile beach, the harbor, or the bone fishing flats. Nearby restaurants and grocery stores offer free delivery.

$50 cleaning fee
A 50% deposit is required for each week reserved. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. When reserving within a 30 day period, a certified check is required.
Your deposit is refundable if 60 days notice is given.

Spanish Wells on St. George's Cay is to the west of North Eleuthera. The Spanish used this island as a safe harbor and source of fresh water in the 17th century during their trips to the New World. Spanish Wells is now known as the lobster capital of the Bahamas. This is a small, quiet island with gentle waters that is reminiscent of a New England fishing village. The local mode of transportation is either bikes or golf carts.
Access is via the North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) and then a taxi to the public dock and a 10 minute 'water taxi' ride to Spanish Wells.
