This charming newly renovated three level home, is just minutes to the famous Chimney Rock State Park, Waterfalls, and Lake Lure. This home has a large covered porch on the first floor, a big balcony off the dining room and kitchen, . The Blue Ridge Mountains can be seen from these views! The entrance to the home is handicapped accessible. The first floor has an extra parking space ,covered patio and an entrance to the game room, which consists of a new pool table, poker table for six a washer and dryer. The second floor has the Master bedroom with a king size bed, full kitchen (with dinette), telephone, living room with a TV and DVD, pullout couch, with a gas log fire place, full bathroom with a large shower, and large dining room with a balcony.. The upper level has two bedrooms ,one with a queen size bed ,TV with DVD player. Our camp style room is perfect all ages with three twin beds and a private balcony, jetted tub and shower across the hall !

Chimney Rock Park is just 5 minutes from the house. You and your family will enjoy the hiking experience to the falls and to the top of the mountain. Spend the Day shopping for homemade foods and handcrafted items in Chimney rock town. Don't forget to take the kids to the gem rock mine, here they will be able to pan for their own gems and take them home ! The gem mine has one of the best jewelry stores in Asheville. They specialize in rare and unique gems and designs. The kids will love Lake Lure Beach , here the kids will have fun filling up water balloons and sling shot them to the walker passers. Lake Lure has been named one of the top best man made lakes in the world by National Geographic, a variety of water sports including, jet skies, wave runners, paddle boats, fishing boats, canoes and kayaks, or arrange a pleasure cruise on the lake. The movie Dirty Dancing was filmed in this location . Bring the fishing polls ! The river is full of fish.
Asheville is 17 miles from the house. The famous Biltmore Estate is located here. Here you can tour the facility and the visit the wine vineyards. You can taste several types of wines and buy some for home. Take the kids to sliding rock for the day, where they can slide along a natural rock slide into a pond. White water rafting and tubing anyone The kids love to go Mt Mitchell for sledding and skiing. The most important and most beautiful ride is through the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway. The scenic views are breathtaking and seem endless. There are plenty of water falls and hiking available ,along with a hands on projects for the children at the museum.
. Grab one of the extra blankets, a cooler filled with all the goodies, a camera of course , and walk down and across to your very own yard. Play a game of ball and enjoy the sounds of the river , animals and birds. Bring some binoculars to do some serious star gazing. Be ready to wish upon that shooting star.

My husband, myself and our four kids had a GREAT time on our first trip to Bat Cave. Home is great for kids and families, with the game room (especially the pool table), books, art supplies, etc. The house is centrally located to Asheville, Hendersonville, Lake Lure,and Chimney Rock. Great place for a relaxing vacation!

The home and its amenities are much nicer than the photos provided. My children thouhgt this was lived in, because of all the selections of games,books, paints,poker,pool, tv that plays dvd in that gameroom was great. Everyone of us (10) had something to do.We all split up with cameras on the property to take pictures of one another on different balconys, with different mountain backdrops.With three levels in this house, we were all able to find time for one another. It was peaceful , and a great bonding expeirence for all fo us. Thank you ! Bat Cave Mountain Manor!

My family and I had a great time in this house. We were able to fit 8 people comfortably. The game room was a hit with all of us. Our family reunion was the best time ever. They had all the comforts of home, we honestly did not want to leave. We would recomend this property to all of our freinds
