This 2 bedroom cottage is located directly on Back Sound on beautiful Harkers Island. It has all the amenities of home and is decorated to reflect local traditions of working the water and the enjoyment of waterfowl. The location is very quiet and provides views of the Cape Lookout National Seashore and spectacular sunsets. Spend your days relaxing on the screened in porch, fishing from the dock, out in your boat or shelling on the banks.
The cottage is within walking distance of a ferry service to both the Cape Lookout Lighthouse and Shackleford Banks, where wild horses roam on miles of undisturbed beaches. Also nearby are grocery stores, gift shops, seafood restaurants and the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. The island is well known for fishing and boating. There is boat parking at the cottage, a marina within walking distance and a public boat ramp close by.
Harkers Island is a short drive to Historic Beaufort and the North Carolina Maritime Museum. Come and enjoy our rich heritage of living, loving and working the water!
Additional Rate Information
Jan-Dec .. $100/night (2 night minimum) .. $700/week.
$150 Non-refundable Deposit and $50 Pet Fee are required.
Linens and cleaning included in rates.
Cancellations can apply deposit towards another reservation.
