Marina del Rey is one of the largest small craft harbors in the world and has been the backdrop for literally hundreds of movies and television shows Giligans Island to Baywatch. You can walk to the local beach which is quiet or walk up to Venice beach where you can find muscle men, snake charmers and chain saw jugglers. Sidewalk dining in quaint restaurants is right around the corner. Marina del Rey is 15 minutes from LAX, 10 minutes from Santa Monica, 30 minutes from the Getty Museum, 45 minutes from downtown LA, Universal Studios, and Disneyland.
