Custom designed and beautifully furnished luxury home located on the east side of Keuka Lake, just a few miles from Penn Yan. The setting is both private and serene, yet convenient to all amenities in Penn Yan. A long, level, tree lined drive leads to the home and guest cottage, with ample parking for a minimum of six cars.
The main house with its soaring ceilings and windows offers vast views of the lake, south to the end of the bluff and wide waters, and north towards Penn Yan. The high ceilings and open design provide a sense of space, openness, and serenity. The large kitchen with eating counter offers multiple amenities and is equipped for every need. The dining room and living room are wonderfully furnished and open on to the large lakeside deck, with eating spaces for 12 or more. This main level also includes a large master bedroom with bath ensuite and access to the deck, a laundry room with washer, dryer, and ironing facilities, a solarium, and a powder room.
The upper level partially overlooks the main floor with a sitting area with added phone line for computer use. Two bedrooms (one queen and one with two twins) share a large tub bath.
The lower level is completely finished with lake views and access and has a large family room / media room. There is also a large, king sized bedroom (overlooking lake) attached to a second smaller bedroom with twin trundle beds. There is a game table and a full bath with large walk in shower and double sinks.
The guest cottage is turn-of-the-century and offers a queen bed and small bath with shower . . . and offers some "get-away space" from the main house.
The slope down to the lake is gentle, and the water depth is gradual for excellent swimming for any age. A long dock offers seating for sunset cocktails and adequate space to tie up your boat. There is a kayak and a laser sailboat available at renter's own risk.
