WildSpring Guest Habitat is a small eco-friendly resort
overlooking Oregon’s south coast in Port Orford, 60
miles north of California. Here, you can enjoy
spectacular natural beauty while surrounded by true
luxury. A unique concept in lodging, it combines many
of the amenities and facilities of a luxury resort with
the conveniences of an upscale vacation rental, set in
the peaceful, naturally beautiful environment of a
retreat center. It feels like something you’d find in Big
Sur.
On five acres of secluded Native American grounds,
WildSpring is set within a quiet and secluded residential
forest of 100-ft trees. Everywhere you look, you'll see
thoughtful details that will make you feel
pampered and special. Our goal is to make you feel like
a privileged guest
in a private estate. Stay in elegant cabin suites in the
woods. Relax in the
Guest Hall with spectacular views of the ocean; help
yourself to a cup of
tea and whale-watch on its expansive deck.
Immerse yourself in the steamy open-air slate hot tub/
spa overlooking
the ocean. Wander the grounds, find a hammock or a
secluded alcove.
Read. Meditate. Take a nap under the trees. Enjoy spa
services such as
incabin massage and healing treatments. Sleep to the
sound of wind
through the trees and wake up to deer outside your
window.
A short walk to the ocean to search for agates and
driftwood. Art
galleries, hiking trails, historical sites. And all without
the crowds. Just
imagine. Slate spa
Whether you come here for a vacation or with a group,
WildSpring is a
place where the ocean and woods have a chance to
work their magic...
the perfect escape from your daily life.
Think of it as nature with five stars.
The Cabin Suites
This is where WildSpring will surprise you. You simply
won't believe how
beautiful the cabin suites are.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of a retreat, but with spa-
quality
accommodations. The five cabin suites are stylish and
comfortable, made
of native cedar and built like small homes, with radiant
heating, vaulted
ceilings, and separate sleeping and living areas divided
by pocket doors.
They're filled with artwork, plush, overstuffed loveseats,
antique and
vintage furniture. Add pillow-top queen Sealy beds,
down comforters,
vintage quilts, luxury towels, spa robes and lush
chenille throws.
Each cabin suite has a refrigerator (stocked with
complimentary bottled
water daily), massage table, TV/VCR and high-end CD
player. You'll also
find wine glasses and cork screw, hiking guide, candles
and lighter. The
large cabin, Annwyn, has a woodburning stove.
The bathrooms are works of art, accessible from either
the bedroom or
livingroom. Enjoy the oversized walk-in slate showers
with brushed nickle
fixtures, convenient walnut shelves for your personal
items, and
completely natural, aromatherapy soaps and shampoos
in biodegradable
containers.
There are no phones, broadcast TV or cooking facilities
in the cabins, but
there is a high-speed WiFi network for your laptop. If
you do not have an
airport card, contact the office to borrow a special UPS
airport station.
Guest Hall
There is a Guest Hall where guests come together to
enjoy the breakfast
buffet, hang out, play games, read, enjoy special events
or just sit and
enjoy the ocean. It’s also perfect for small groups to
meet and enjoy each
others company and shared interests.
It has a comfortable greatroom with radiant heating
and floor-to-ceiling
windows overlooking the ocean. It also has an
expansive deck shaded by
enormous, graceful Port Orford cedars, the perfect
place to whale-watch
over morning coffee.
There is also a small library of books, video tapes, CDs
and games to
borrow any time for your cabin.
The modern, fully-equipped kitchen is designed for
guests to easily
prepare themselves a cup of hot tea, coffee or cocoa
during the day, and
to share with other guests for meal preparation. There
are also charcoal
and propane grills right outside for barbeques.

Wild Nature. Get pampered at a new Oregon coast
resort. WildSpring
Guest Habitat. It’s a name that conjures up lovely
things like water and a
memorable natural setting, and a place as comfortable
as home. This
mini resort that opened last July in Port Orford, on the
southern Oregon
coast, delivers on both counts.”
Sunset Magazine, NW Edition, February 2005
“Sweet sanctuary by the sea. WildSpring Guest Habitat
overlooking the
ocean in Port Orford puts the brakes on life.... a
secluded $2 million
retreat where guests can stroll forest paths, soak in an
outdoor spa,
navigate a rock-bordered labyrinth or just relax in a
comfy chair in the
Guest Hall and gaze at the ocean."
The Oregonian , Destinations, March 26, 2006
“A wonderful escape from the pace and burden of the
day. We came to
relax, golf and become young lovers again. All dreams
achieved. As I
write this entry I gaze at a sunlit grove of tall, swaying
trees. I hope we
can return soon.” Russ & Sue S.,
Klamath Falls,
Labor Day Weekend 2004
