"Tupelo honey" - Upscale home with magnificent golf course views. This 4 bedroom home is located in the exclusive Bald Head island maritime forest overlooking the 11th Fairway of the BHI Country Club. This residence is only a short stroll from the beach and offers spectacular views of nature both inside and outside. The open floorplan is ideal for entertaining, with stunning architectural finishes throughout. The kitchen is a master piece and perfect for the chef of your group. This beautiful home sleeps eight people with a master suite on the main floor with a king-sized bed and an office area. Two bedrooms upstairs each have queen-sized beds and their own separate bathroom. There is a loft that has a TV, and can accommodate up to two guests with a trundle. The guest cottage (crofter), located above the garage for golf carts, has a fourth bedroom with en-suite bathroom. During your stay, you can also purchase a BHI Club temporary membership. This membership includes access to the BHI Club's pool, fitness, golf and tennis.
We cannot guarantee that the ice maker or water dispenser will be operational in the rental.

Our family stayed over Christmas this year. Everything was perfect. The house was immaculate, the beds super comfy and the kitchen stocked with everything we needed to host a lavish holiday feast. When we arrived the golf carts were not charged. I called the after hours service. Within minutes a new cart arrived. Great service! Thank you! We will definitely return soon.,

Tupelo Honey provided my friends and me with the perfect, charming long weekend escape. Situated on a golf course, minutes away from the beach, my group and I had an absolute blast. Not only is the house beautiful on the outside, but it's' cheery and comfortable interior makes guests feel like they are lounging in an Architectural Digest featured home. We loved enjoying coffee on the porch in the morning, driving golf carts and riding bikes around the jungle-esque island, and catching sunsets every night night on the beach. I can't recommend Tupelo Honey enough— it's the perfect place to relax after a long day at the beach—or even to hang out around the house during the day and read or play games. BHI is unlike any other destination, and staying here will elevate your vacation experience :)

Our friends and I enjoyed Tupelo Honey! This home was super spacious for 4 couples! The prettiest home I have ever rented at BHI. It has a well-stocked kitchen! It has 2/4 passenger golf carts. 2 nice bikes and a weber gas grill. Centrally located, we all walked to the Baldy Lighthouse, The Marsh, and the Marina. We also walked to the beach. We all enjoyed Tupelo Honey and will rent it again in the future!! Thank you!!:)

This was our second time staying at Tupelo Honey! We loved our week at BHI and Tupelo Honey is part of what makes BHI so wonderful for us! The character and charm of the home is so unique and special. We love the floor plan (perfect for our family of 6) and the newly renovated crofter is lovely. Thanks for another great stay!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving week, and the place was fantastic. It's a beautifully crafted, updated home. Furniture and kitchen amenities were top-notch. Great views of the golf course out back, and close to the beach and BHI Club. I have nothing negative to say about the place.

Our stay at Tupelo Honey was amazing! I have stayed in a lot of houses on Bald Head Island, but this was truly the best! The home was so cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We had only previously stayed on the beach but being on the golf course has changed our minds. We will only be staying on the golf course from here on out! I highly recommend staying at Tupelo Honey!

By far my favorite place to stay on the island. I have been coming for 25 years and have now stayed at Tupelo Honey twice. The home is beautiful, spacious, well equipped, and in a central location.

Our family completely enjoyed this spacious, clean, charming bungalow style home. We loved the location, it is kind of nestled in the woods on the golf course, which is a welcome respite after a day on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to cook big meals. Many extra's were included and were much appreciated: bikes, beach chairs, beach toys and two well maintained golf carts. We also appreciated being able to piggy back on the owners membership (for a fee)at the BHI club, it has recently been renovated and had several pools and excellent food. I highly recommend this property!

We absolutely loved our stay at Tupelo Honey. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is just lovely. The location was great-close to everything that Bald Head offers. It was our first time visiting BHI and we plan to come back, but only if we can stay at Tupelo Honey again! Thank you for a wonderful week with our family.

Great house in a great location with great amenities adds up to a terrific vacation. We will say that the description online and photos do not do this house justice. We had no idea until we walked in that there was a 4th bedroom/loft in the main house. y'all might want to spent a few minutes updating that on your site as I think it will help drive more renters. Once the Crofter is repaired, this would be a go to house for our family and we've been coming to BHI since 2007!

Loved this house so much! Everything was wonderful. The house was so comfortable and spacious and you can tell how much attention to detail the owners put into making sure all of their guests were comfortable. The two golf carts were spectacular! They felt so easy to drive unlike a lot of rentals when you get older carts. This house had newer carts which drove wonderfully! The bathrooms were all spectacular and the kitchen is amazing! The screened in porch is so lovely! Thank you for allowing us to use your house!

We enjoyed staying at Tupelo Honey very much. It is a lovely home and perfect for two couples. We enjoyed the central location very much and also watching the golfers struggle with the waste-bunker right outside our back door. We would definitely consider renting this home again on our next stay.

My husband and I spent 5 days on Bald Head for our wedding celebration and Tupelo Honey could not have been a more perfect home. The details and accommodations were absolutely beautiful and more than we could have ever expected! We had beautiful views, such comfortable accommodations, and the best time! We had a wonderful stay!
