Welcome to the Chocolate Factory! The "Chocolate Factory" features tile floors throughout, an open kitchen/dining and living area and rooftop seating area with views of Schwan Lake and partial ocean view There is a huge master suite upstairs, and a second master suite downstairs with separate entrance.

This comfortable three bedroom, two bathroom beach home sleeps up to six guests comfortably with a California King bed in the master bedroom, Queen bed in the guest room and a full bed in the third bedroom.

Perfectly situated for families and located in quiet residential neighborhood, the Chocolate Factory offers everything you need for your home away from home, complete with open kitchen/dining and living area, gas fireplace, large flat screen televisions with Netflix and Amazon streaming, high-speed wireless Internet, private fenced backyard and deck, Weber gas barbecue, outdoor table and chairs, full-size washer and dryer, coffee/hot water maker and more.

Only 2 vehicles that reverse into the parking area, are allowed to park on site due to the narrowness of the alleyway and respect for the neighborhood.

Additional Pet fees do apply, per pet. Dogs must not exceed 45lbs and must be older than 1 year. If you feel your pet situation warrants exception, please contact the team at Beachnest.

Cleanliness and safety in our homes is always our number one priority, and I want to personally assure you that we have expanded our already strict cleaning protocols and added additional housekeeping staff to take extra precautions between guests. We are sanitizing all high touch surfaces such as door knobs, light switches, faucets, and handles and opening windows and doors to allow fresh salt air to circulate, and we have outfitted each rental with disinfectants that can be used by guests that are in-house.

Beachnest did a wonderful job on this stay. I was working to book a different property, but that property owner decided to use that property during my planned stay. So, Beachnest suggested an alternative that was equivalent or better. Also, their detailed instructions made this an easy self-service stay. Lastly, this is a great location and a short walk to the beach.

The Chocolate Factory is a lovely, spacious vacation rental located on a quiet dead-end road. It is just a short walk from Twin Lakes Beach. We were here for two months, and it was a lovely two months. There are two spacious suites with beautiful bathrooms. It also has a third room/office, as well as a third bathroom by the office. The kitchen is fully stocked. The floors are wood floors and tile, which is a plus for anyone with mold/dust allergies and asthma. There is a luxurious gas grill on the back deck, perfect for entertaining. There are beautiful views of the beach and sunset on the top deck. There is also ample parking in front of the property. We lived here for two months. We had three adults, and three children, and a dog. Our whole family thought the Chocolate Factory was a very luxurious introduction to Santa Cruz. We fell in love with The Chocolate Factory and Twin Lakes Beach.
