Northern Exposure, a beautiful renovated mountain home situated atop Beech Mountain. The slopes, ice skating, snowtubing and shops are all within walking distance. The two rear decks provide year-round mountain views. This three-level mountain lodge is perfect for vacations in all four seasons. Northern Exposure has three (3) bedrooms, all of which are private. However, it can be used as a four-bedroom home. The loft is spacious, with three (3) twin beds and one (1) twin trundle. It can accommodate four people. The lower level den has a queen-size sofa sleeper that can accommodate 1 or 2 extra guests. This sleeper sofa has been updated in the summer 2019. The kitchen has also been upgraded and there are new HD Smart TVs. The main floor features an open concept living room, kitchen and dining area. It also has a living room with tongue and groove vaulted ceilings. There is a gas fireplace, HDTV, fully equipped kitchen, new appliances, and dining space that can accommodate up to 11 people. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king size bed and an HDTV. The master suite also features a bathroom with a shower and bathtub. On the main floor, you'll also find a queen bedroom with HDTV and a full bathroom. The rear deck provides layered mountain views. You will find a large loft upstairs with three twin beds, a twin trundle bed and a single. The beds are arranged around a perimeter of the loft, making it a great play area for kids. The middle of the loft is left open to accommodate games, toys or sleeping bags. You will find a queen-sized bedroom upstairs with an en suite bathroom. The adjacent full bath can be used for the loft or bedroom. The queen bedroom has an HDTV. The game and family room is located downstairs. Northern Exposure’s new queen-size sofa sleeper (7/2019) provides additional sleeping options, and is flexible in its configurations. It's ideal for large groups. This entertainment center includes a pool table and an arcade. It also has a large HD SmartTV. Downstairs, there is a full bathroom. A deck with views of the mountains and Ski Beech slopes to the right is also accessible. Three (3) vehicles may be parked in the gravel area at the top. You can also walk up to the large Ski Beech lot below if you need more parking. The main entrance can be accessed via a covered porch. The gas grill is located here. Nearby, you will find the Village at Ski Beech. The Village at Ski Beech offers coffee, ice-skating and snowtubing. There are also slopes for snow skiing and snowboarding. All of these amenities can be easily accessed from the property. Beech Mountain has miles of hiking and strolling trails, parks, streams, and lakes. Buckeye Recreation Center, located only a few minutes from the hotel, offers indoor and outdoor activities like tennis, basketball, pickleball, volleyball, soccer, playground, and climbing frame. Buckeye Lake is available to guests for canoeing and kayaking. Buckeye Lake is available for guests to rent at a modest fee per day.
