Welcome to Mile High Lodge! 
 

This stunning 6BR/5BA house is located at the top of Beech Mountain, with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Oz Run at Beech Mountain Ski Resort is also within walking range. Snow tubing, skiing and snowboarding are all easily accessible. You can enjoy National Championship Mountain Biking Trails that are suitable for all levels of skill in the summer. Beech Mountain Buckeye Recreation Center, located just 15 minutes away, offers hiking, a large play area, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. Beech Mountain is home to many local favorites such as the Mile High Tavern and Brick Oven Pizzeria. Banner Elk, located a few minutes down the mountain, offers groceries, gas, shopping and other amenities.  

The two large porches on the upper and lower levels offer a 360 degree view of the mountains at Mile High Lodge. Enjoy the views while relaxing in the hot-tub or around the outdoor fire pit, which has plenty of seating for a marshmallow roast with the family. The decks come with rocking chairs and a swing as well as outdoor dining space and an outdoor gas barbecue.  

The interior is a blend of rustic elegance and contemporary convenience. The wall of windows is the focal point of the living room. The leather seating and wood-burning fire place are also available.  

The large kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counters and a gas range. The kitchen has a capacity of ten (10), and eight (8) people can eat at the formal dining room.  

The master bedroom, located on the first floor, has a king size bed, a Smart TV with a flat screen, and private access to the deck. There is an ensuite bathroom. This bathroom has a jetted bathtub, dual vanities, and a tiled walk-in shower. The main floor full bathroom has a walk-in shower.  

 

Two bedrooms upstairs have king-size bed and share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. One bedroom offers mountain views, while the other features a large Smart TV. The third room is a twin bedroom that can accommodate up to three (3) people. The room also has a twin sofa bed and trundle. This room leads into a secret corner for children with toys, games and a TV in rocking chairs.  

Mile High Lodge's lower level is fully equipped for entertainment. It has electronic darts, foosball and pool. The system is connected to three (3) large Smart TVs and an arcade table, as well as a BlueTooth speaker. The bar features a wet-bar, a fireplace and seating overlooking the breathtaking mountain view. The theater room features Surround Sound, a projector and high-quality viewing. The room also includes an XBox.  

This floor also features a king-bed with a Smart TV on a flat screen and private access to a covered porch at the lower level. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in tiled bath, two separate vanities and a tub. The lower level features a bunk bed room with a double over twin configuration that can accommodate five people. The room also has a twin pull-out couch and a trundle. This room has a Smart TV and games, including Dance Dance Revolution. The attached bathroom has a bathtub-and-shower combination.  

There is parking for up to five vehicles. The home's entrance has no stairs. Pets are welcome to join in the fun.

Mile High Lodge guests with a reservation may apply for a membership at the Beech Mountain Club for the dates reserved.
 BMC policies apply to a membership transfer.
Guests will receive an email notification when they make a booking. This email will contain instructions, the BMC Transfer Policy and the transfer application. The application must arrive at least 3 days before the transfer date. It cannot be before your arrival date. BMC charges the guest a $200 fee for membership transfer upon check-in. Memberships start at the social level. BMC will upgrade your membership if you pay additional fees (see BMC's website for details). Transfers are handled exclusively by BMC. CANCELLATION POLICY:

You can cancel within 24 hours and receive a refund. Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival will result in 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are not eligible for refunds. If you have travel coverage and the reason of cancellation is covered, you can get the full amount back.
