Rivendell is a spacious, newly remodeled ski-in/ski-out chalet located on a premier lot in the center of Beech Mountain. It seats 22 for dining and has a huge kitchen with two sinks, two ranges, two refrigerators/freezers, an ice maker, and more. It is an ideal location for skiers and for those who enjoy relaxing and watching slope activities indoors. Enjoy skiing right outside your door and beautiful mountain views from large windows on the main floor. In addition to skiing and other winter activities at Rivendell, take advantage of summer activities like biking and fall foliage from Rivendell. Located near the heart of the town, you can walk through the woods to Fred's General Store or restaurants. 

Regardless of the time of year, this home provides easy access to numerous mountain activities. This stunning seven-bedroom home offers easy access to skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. Enjoy National Championship mountain bike trails in the summer with something for every skill level. Just a fifteen (15) minute drive away, the Buckeye Recreation Center offers fantastic hiking, a large playground, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. Dining options on Beech Mountain include local favorites like the Mile High Tavern, Brick Oven Pizzeria, and Alpen Restaurant, to name a few. Banner Elk has groceries, gas stations, and shopping a few miles down the mountain. 

The main level features a great room overlooking the slopes and boasts leather furniture around the stone wood-burning fireplace and big screen-mounted TV. The spacious kitchen is perfect for hosting a full house. The large stainless side-by-side fridge in the kitchen is backed up by a second stainless side-by-side fridge and a separate ice maker in the nearby laundry room. Gather together for joyous meals at the big round table with seating for fourteen to sixteen and an additional nearby table for four. Kitchen island seating for four provides seating for all twenty-two guests in the same space. The spacious deck with a gas grill overlooks the slopes.

The lower-level family room allows guests to spread out and gives kids a fun place to play. The leather furniture is around the gas log fireplace and big screen TV. There is a foosball table and drink station with a mini fridge and sink. 

There are two main-floor master bedrooms with king beds and ensuite bathrooms. The upper level has a king bedroom with an ensuite bath and king and queen bedrooms with a hallway bathroom. Downstairs are two bunk rooms, each with three twin-over-twin bunks providing space for 12. Each bunk room has an ensuite bathroom and in-room sink with a mirror, so kids have plenty of handwashing and teeth brushing space. 

Rivendell has been perfectly designed and equipped for your gathering with family and friends! 

One important note: one of the owners of this home has a severe cat allergy. For this reason, in accordance with the law, cats are not permitted in the home, even in an actual service animal scenario. Thank you!

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
