Salt Pond Vista is two level vacation rental villa comprised of two private and separate one bedroom apartments.  This secluded villa is  located on the Coral Bay side of St. John.  Elegant and stately, Salt Pond Vista is remote and extremely quiet, overlooking an endless expanse of US National Park land and the southeast shoreline of St. John..  Salt Pond Vista villa is located at the end of a private driveway and the upper level is accessed trough a private entrance from the driveway and lower level down a short tiled staircase.  Salt Pond Vista is a combination of two fully featured one-bedroom apartments with sleeping accommodations for up to eight persons. Both levels feature sweeping awe inspiring vistas of Salt Pond Bay, Drunk Bay, Ram's Head and the storied Caribbean Sea beyond.  Both levels have private balconies which are accessed through sliding glass/screen doors from the great rooms and bedrooms in each level..  Each of the private balconies feature alfresco dining area, two lounger chairs for sunning of relaxing with a good book and amazing views of the surrounding water features along St. John's southern shoreline.  There are also a gas BBQ grill conveniently located on and adjacent to balconies and the lower balcony also sports an outdoor shower for cooling off during the warm afternoons.. 

Entering the upper level guests will be inspired by the sweeping ocean vistas which fill the great room from the sliding glass doors.  The full featured and beautifully designed custom built gourmet kitchen with exotic mahogany cabinetry and beautifully crafted granite counters calls to the chef(s) to dive in and begin creating fabulous meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all amenities necessary to prepare snacks to full meals and with the breakfast bar, certain to be a favorite gathering place for guests!. 

The open air floor plan of the great room includes small indoor dining  table, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV and a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa.  Strategically mounted ceiling fans together with a glass/screen sliding door to the balcony provide plenty of cooling trade winds to circulate throughout the unit.  The expansive balcony features a large wooden dining table for alfresco dining with seating for four.  There are two comfortable loungers which are perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with a good book.  The great room also features individually controlled air conditioning, cable TV service and high speed WiFi internet service.

The upper level private bedroom is adjacent to the main room and features individually controlled air conditioning, an elegant king sized bed, a wall mounted Smart TV with cable television service and a small table with two chairs.  A highlight of the bedroom is the a custom designed and built full wall mahogany wardrobe which features built-in 4 drawer dresser with mirror, linen closet and large closet for hanging clothes.  The bedroom has a ceiling fan and its own sliding glass door leading to the outside balcony which provides panoramic ocean views and cooling breezes.  Other amenities include a outdoor garden shower, a gas BBQ grill and there are plenty of  beach towels, beach umbrellas and beach chairs for enjoying St John's incredible, world famous beaches.

The elegant lower level apartment is remote from the upper level and is accessed down a short tiled staircase from the driveway to a private entrance.  This fully featured one-bedroom apartment also has a full length balcony overlooking Salt Pond Bay and the Caribbean Sea which is accessed through sliding glass/screen doors from both the great room and bedroom.  The balcony features an alfresco dining area with seating for four, an outside shower, custom reclining loungers, a gas BBQ grill all with amazing views of Salt Pond Bay and the Caribbean Sea.  There are also custom designed awnings over the sliding glass doors and window in the great room placed to provide shade from the late afternoon sun.

This fabulous rental villa has been extensively renovated and remodeled and is tastefully decorated with highlights of native coral, rock and shell embedded walls built in the traditional island style. There is a communal laundry facility located immediately outside the front door of the upper unit and directly across from the exotic, alfresco garden shower. The two levels of this spacious home are completely private and separated by an exterior staircase but perfect for large groups or family wanting a bit more privacy than found in many rental villas on St. John.. Salt Pond Vista is remote enough so that you will need to have rental vehicles.  There are several popular restaurants located on this side of St. John and several convenience stores and a large market conveniently located in Coral Bay. One of the best beaches and snorkeling areas on the island, Salt Pond Bay, is less than a five minute drive away or, if so inclined, hiking trails leading to the beach begin below the villa. Coral Bay and numerous other beaches, restaurants, and stores are close by less than 10 minutes away by car. If you can imagine gazing at Caribbean water views from large balconies, listening to the waves crashing into Drunk Bay, watching sailboats glide by from afar, catching sight of humming birds magically suspended over tropical flowers, seeing small geckos dart by, and breathing in the beauty of St. John at a relaxing pace, then Salt Pond Vista I is the place for you.
