Property Description

Imagine yourself in our Powder Ridge Cabin, enjoying the views, the hot tub and the access to the mountain, with your family and friends. It's easy, isn't it? The cabin's layout allows you to spread out and still stay together, both inside and outside. The multiple living areas allow guests to prepare for the day and then spread out after an adventure. Grilling on the deck will allow you to enjoy the mountain air, while the hot tub located on the ground floor will let you recharge.

Explore your backyard, Big Sky Resort, during the summer. Mountain Village offers a variety of activities, including ziplining, rock climbing, dining, and mountain biking. Many visitors to Big Sky plan a trip to Yellowstone, America's first National Park! Plan accordingly to ensure you don't miss the viewing fields of roaming Bison, the colorful (and odorous) thermal pools and geysers and the iconic and inspiring views throughout the park. The West Yellowstone park is located one hour south of Big Sky. The drive along the Gallatin river and the national park boundaries will add to the experience.

During the winter you can ski directly out of your cabin by using the Rising Bull Access located off Blue Cloud Road. This will take you to the White Otter trail and then the White Wing trail. From there, you can reach the Explorer Lift in Big Sky Resort's Mountian Base. You can also ski out of your cabin by following Rising Bull Road. This will take you to Rosebud Access Trail and eventually lead you to White Otter Pick-up Lift that operates for most of the ski season. Once you know your route, the entire world (or at least Big Sky Resort’s 5,800 skiable acres!) is your oyster.

White Otter opens mid-December, and closes April 9th. We do not have control over the schedule of the ski lifts. You may need to transport your small children to the resort if they are not able to ski. Home Layout and DetailsSleeps 12 in beds; Up to 12 allowed.

Additional Notes:We are a local company that manages property. Please let us know if you have any questions before, during or after your vacation. Montana A/C is a good way to cool down the house during summer. It involves opening windows at night, and closing them during the day. Closing the windows during the day will keep cool air in the house. We ask that you close them if you're not at home.

Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:It is important to have a vehicle available during your stay in order to enjoy all that Big Sky offers. You can travel easily from the Gallatin river to Lone Peak. In other communities, taxis and ride-sharing services are plentiful. However, Big Sky is a small community with limited transportation options. We offer a 5% off code to Explore Rentals. They are located just minutes from the Bozeman airport and offer 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires during the winter and all season tires during the summer.
