Property Description

This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom Big Horn condo, located at the base of Big Sky Resort is the perfect place to enjoy the spectacular views, activities, and dining options that Big Sky has to offer. You'll be just a few steps away from the Big Sky Resort's adventures, whether you're taking the Lone Peak Expedition during the summer or putting on your skis for the winter.

You can skip the hassle of loading up your car with ski equipment in the winter and simply walk to the "Bear Back Poma" lift, which will take you directly to Mountain Village at Big Sky Resort. Ski to the Northern Madison Base and then weave back to mid-mountain ski lifts such as Powder Seeker. Then, load up on the tram for the summit (be sure to buy your ticket in advance!) Ski down the backside slopes all the way to Shedhorn Grill for some lunch and drinks. Find fun runs that will take you back to the Mountain Base. From there, you can follow the Bear Back Run back to your condo.

Consider renting a kayak or paddleboard to cruise around Lake Levinsky in the summer. You can also put on your hiking boots and take a hike up the mountain using the trails that allow uphill traffic. Just be careful of mountain bikers. If you're not ready to hike to the ridgeline of the mountain, book a place at the Lone Peak Expedition with Big Sky Resort Basecamp. This offers Montana's highest scenic view! This is a great activity for the whole family.

Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport

It is important to have a vehicle available during your stay in order to enjoy all that Big Sky offers. You can travel easily from the Gallatin river to Lone Peak. In other communities, taxis and ride-sharing services are plentiful. However, Big Sky is a small community with limited transportation options. We offer a 5% off code to Explore Rentals. They are located just minutes from the Bozeman airport and offer 4 wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires during the winter and all season tires during the summer.
