Villa SAL BUR rests in an ancient hamlet named La Rocca, which dates back to the 11th century. This hamlet was a former base for pilgrims and Templar Knights on their journey to the Terra Santa (Holy Land). Once a ruin at the borders of the hamlet, this villa was restored with respect of the original structure, using antique materials, handmade cotto floors, and beamed ceilings.
The particular “knight theme” furniture of the dining room (with original metal armors and decorations) reflects the Templars’ history, adding a special atmosphere to the interior. The sitting room on the ground floor features leather sofas facing a fireplace and flat screen TV. The ground floor kitchen has a breakfast table and opens to the garden.
This house accommodates 6 guests maximum. All 3 bedrooms are located on the first floor. The first 2 bedrooms are each furnished with a European queen-size bed. The first bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, while the second bedroom is located near a hall bathroom with a large shower. The third bedroom has twin beds and an ensuite bathroom.
A relaxing room with a Jacuzzi is located in the basement. This room opens to the gardens and pool area. The swimming pool enjoys stunning views from its unique vantage point. This villa also comes with a barbecue, Internet access, and satellite TV.
Villa Gran Burrone, or SAL BUR, has house cleaning services available during the week.
