This cottage is located on Cromesett Neck steps away from the beach. There are outstanding views from the kitchen and living room. Within minutes you will be enjoying a swim or stroll on Marks Cove where the sand is soft and the water is warm and inviting. Whether you are interested in shellfishing, kayaking or bird watching, this is the place for you. The neighborhood is small, friendly and very tranquil. Nearby Audubon property extends to the beach where you can watch the osprey in their nest and walk on the beach. The cottage is fully equipped for cooking, relaxing and playing. It is modern and bright with lots of light and air. The furniture is large and comfortable.

This is a perfect place to sit back and listen to the birds sing, but if you like to get out and about you are situated perfectly to explore Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Wareham has great restaurants but within 30 minutes or less you can sample the best of New Bedford, Fairhaven and Bourne. There are lots of family activities nearby; the Water Whiz, miniature golf, a movie complex, bowling, and our favorite- bumper boats. From here it is a short trip to Plymouth Plantation, Historic Sandwich Village, Heritage Plantation, The New Bedford Whaling Museum or Battle Ship Cove. The Wareham Gatemen has free Cape Cod League baseball games at the local high school and there is a terrific library in town. Historic New Bedford has free concerts, a great Zoo at Buttonwood Park for children, and the Zeiterion Theatre. The historic Cape Cod Canal is a favorite place to hike, bike or roller blade. There are whale watchboats and canal cruises from the Victorian Village of Onset.
