The Mountain Getaway is a cozy lodge located less than 20 minutes from downtown Asheville in the attractively quaint town of Black Mountain, NC. Also known as
The Front Porch of Western North Carolina, Black Mountain boasts beautiful landscapes, Lake Tomahawk, specialty and antique shops, art & craft galleries, excellent eateries, and an array of recreational activities.
Affordability, convenience and comfort combine at The Mountain Getaway to create a relaxing mountain-view haven when you aren’t out biking, hiking, rafting, horseback riding, shopping, golfing, skiing, boating, swimming or sightseeing in the Asheville area. Unwind in a rocking chair on your front porch or in a seven-person hot tub on the large deck complete with patio furniture and BBQ grill.
Also of note is the Mountain Getaway's close proximity to Ridgecrest's Conference Center and summer camps. The lodge is the perfect place to stay when visiting those sites while also being convenient to popular destinations in Black Mountain and Montreat.
