During the Peak summer months of June, July & August, a multitude of various festivals take place. Hyannis is also a mecca for shopping. There is scenic route 6A with quant antique shops. Take the 21 mile bike route from Buzzards Bay through Hyannis, to Provincetown. Near the Habor, where you can take a tour to see the 'Kennedy Compound', whale watching, sailing. Ride the ferry to Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket Islands (40 min to get there) The seafood is great ! Beautiful Hydrangea Flowers are everywhere....So many beaches up and down the Nantucket Sound. Also many concert series at the 'Melody Tent' which is a walking distance from the home. It takes only 10-15 minutes to walk to the beaches. Golfing, Yacht Clubs, ....Main Street (Downtown) has so many shops and restaurants of all flavors, and is only 2 short blocks from the home.
